The Tabernacle demonstrates many aspects of God's plan for his people. It shows us the blessing that God intends to dwell with them. It portrays his loving willingness to accommodate himself to them. And it serves as a picture of how God works in redemption. We should recognize this great gift of God and press into it by receiving and rejoicing in God's wonderful blessing of dwelling with us!

When God gives commands, he desires us to respond in worship. A redeemed people worships, and specifically, they worship by the book. Bearing false witness is one of the easiest sins to slip into, but it bears significant consequences. When we lie, we cover up the truth, which harms others as well as ourselves. Our speech comes from the overflow of our hearts, so as we consider our words, we must reflect on the motivations and desires that produce them. Let us pursue truth, uplifting speech, and words that bring glory to God.

God values human life and forbids us to take it for personal, selfish reasons. From clear cases of homicide to culturally acceptable means of killing others, we must oppose and turn away from all manifestations of murder.
