True happiness is not circumstantial but found in Christ alone. So joy is a defining trait of the Christian life. Our church can embody joyful Christianity as a powerful witness to the world, with Christ Himself as the source and model of our happiness.

Jesus loves us and commands us to love one another. Because love is the defining mark of true disciples and the most powerful testimony to a watching world. Love must be expressed in patient, kind, humble, forgiving, and enduring ways, because without it, even the most impressive spiritual acts amount to nothing.

God's people are called to conform their lives to the will of God and the image of Christ. The process includes ridding ourselves of sin, cultivating new virtues, and living with a heavenly focus.

Many Christians affirm they are forgiven and free in Christ, yet live under guilt, shame, and the expectations of others. In Christ, we are completely forgiven and released from the bondage of legalism, mysticism, and man-made rules, called instead to walk in the fullness of His grace.

All throughout Scripture, we can see ways effective evangelism happened. Each of these ways gives us practical hope for how we can share the gospel without fear.

We know we should tell people about Jesus and we don't. The solution isn't guilt for failing to do it, but motivation for succeeding in it. We find that by knowing evangelism's focus, goal, and comfort.

God created us to be dependent on Him and one another. The Christian life is meant to be lived in community, not solitude. In Christ, we are complete and free to encourage, love, and support each other as His body.
