John 17:14-26 - Christians are people who write their plans in pencil because when Jesus shows up everything changes. Jesus’ plans are better than our plans and so we need to learn to trust him to lead us. Jesus has a 5 point plan to see his church grow. We are to be missional, sanctified, unified, loving, and prayerful.

John 17:1-13 - The last thing that Jesus does before he goes to the cross is he prays for his church. Jesus’ prayer in John 17 gives us a few things that we need to know before we are able to grow in our relationship with him. We are to know his glory, word, mission, and joy.

Throughout the series Song of Solomon our goal is to create a healthy and Christ-centered conversation around sex, love, and marriage. We want to answer any questions you may have when it comes to the subject. Luke 20:9-18 - In this final parable, Jesus lets us look at our lives and all of human history from the perspective of God the father. Oftentimes we become unattached to what Jesus actually endured through the cross and accomplished on our behalf. This parable moves us to see what great lengths Jesus went through to give us the kingdom of God.

Luke 19:11-27 Jesus is prophet, priest and king. Typically the church does very well in focusing on Jesus as prophet and priest, however we tend to struggle with Jesus as king. In this parable Jesus tells us his big vision for our lives and how we can accomplish that by simply being faithful with what he has entrusted us with.

Luke 18: 1-8 Persistence pays off. Jesus is encouraging us as his disciples that when things are difficult or uncertain we can always go to him in prayer and he will provide for us. Stay focused on him through perseverance regardless of what is happening in life and in the end you will receive your reward.

Luke 8:4-10 You are dirt, the question is what type of dirt are you? Will you be the dirt that Jesus uses to build the Kingdom of God or will you build your own kingdom in this world? The gospel has the power to change and transform lives but we must be open and receptive to the word for it to do it’s work. Luke 15:1-10 God is filled with joy when lost people are found. When we repent (confessing, compelling, life-changing), God rejoices. Jesus is the good shepherd and we are his sheep. That means we are prone to wonders and stray, but wherever we find ourselves the good shepherd is always there. He never gives up looking for his people, and when what is lost is found, God throws a party.

Titus 3 Becoming a Christian is simple, being a Christian is difficult. We are saved by grace alone through faith alone, but because of grace we have works to do. The Christian life takes work, but the good news is that the Holy Spirit empowers us to live for God’s glory with good works in the world.

Titus 2:2-15 The Christian life is to be lived as a throwback to the garden and a preview of heaven. God has created us both male and female to live for his glory and the good of others. We share in the image and likeness of God, equal in our relationships, yet different in our roles and responsibilities for his good work in the world.

Titus 1:9-2:1 What was the most difficult conversation that you ever had? How did you respond? Paul is going to have some tough words for the church, but tough words make tough people. In this sermon we look at how sound doctrine produces sound living and why it is necessary for us to know the truth, that way we don’t fall victim to lies, deceit, and division.

Titus 1:1-4 - Titus is a young pastor at a new church. All he wants is to see his church grow and make a gospel impact in their city. Paul writes him a letter to help him get his church back on track. In this sermon, we see why good advice is not as powerful as good news.

Prayer is something that is more caught than taught, which is why Jesus didn't spend the bulk of his ministry preaching expository sermons or writting books about prayer, but rather spent his life in community and modeling a vibrant prayer life to his disciples. In this sermon we concider the when and where we are to pray.

If prayer is just another box you check or chore you have to do, you will never learn to pray nor be faithful at it. But when you know “why we pray” and “who we pray too” then prayer really does change everything.

When you think of prayer is it a delight or is it despair? My hope is that we will learn to pray first and pray often. Prayer isn’t something we have to do, rote, religious obligations, duty or despair, rather, prayer is something we get to do because we have a God who loves us.
