The door to heaven opens (vv. 1-2a). The transcendence of heaven is revealed (vv. 2b-8a). The song of heaven – verse 1 (vv. 8b-9). The song of heaven – verse 2 (vv. 10-11).

John tells us he is writing the letter for the church. No rapture is mentioned anywhere in Revelation. God’s people, at times, do come under wrath. All through the Revelation, there are God’s people present – believers… not the church? The rapture happens at the same time as the full return of Jesus and the end of the age.
