The good news of Jesus is the most important news we could ever hear but how can it become good news for you? When Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom He said "Repent and Believe the Gospel?" The Message of the book of Daniel is "The Lord reigns supreme over all kings and kingdoms. The reasons for this message was to encourage, remind, comfort, and give hope to God's weary suffering people to endure to the end. In this final Sermon on the book of Daniel, Pastor JT walks through the whole book to encourage the students with this message. 

One of the main testimonies of the book of Daniel is that God is Sovereign and He governs all things by His providence and for His glory. Daniel 11 demonstrates this point, which should embolden you to take a stand, comfort you in trials, and remind you of where you are going.

Chapter 10 is the introduction to the final vision of the book of Daniel (chapters 10-12) and is thus the final conflict. In this chapter an angel visits Daniel to tell him of the meaning of chapter 8 but in so doing we learn three truths that will help us prepare for conflict and affliction. I pray this sermon is a comfort to you as we walk through life longing to be brought home. 

The apostle Paul stated that if christ did not raise from the dead then our preaching and belief in Jesus was meaningless. Jesus was either a Liar, Lunatic, or Lord. The resurrection is an undeniable fact that beckons sinners to turn from their sins and believe on Jesus who conquered sin and death. 

Who is Jesus and what did he do for sinners? Jesus Bore the consequences of our sin as our substitute. 

Does God hear our prayers? I know many of us believe that to be true but we don't live like it's true. Daniel is perplexed and in mourning over sin and God answers him with tender words that reassure him in his distress. 

Two weeks ago we looked at what inspired Daniel to pray in Chapter 9. In this sermon Pastor JT analyzes the content of Daniel's prayer in order to give students a template of true confessional prayer. 

This sermon is on the lost and ignored doctrine of Hell. A light view of hell will produce a light view of God's love and grace. Therefore students must be warned of the consequences of their sin.
