Ch. 53 continues to speak of the relationship between Hashem and the Jewish people, but through a different angle. Here, the prophet must bear the missteps of Bnei Yisrael. As the Assyrian superpower stands at the gates of Jerusalem and destruction seems immanent, an angel of God strikes down the enemy army and Sancheriv returns to his city, never to emerge again. Calev Ben Dor provides us with a brilliant audio (even by his own standards) considering, among other things, the scenario of 'what if Sancheriv had destroyed Jerusalem in 701 rather than the Babylonian...
