The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) says it has not written off any money. It reported on its financial results for the year ended 31 March 2018 this morning in Johannesburg, saying its investments portfolio has grown by 8.3% from R 1.6 trillion in 2017 to R1.8 trillion despite the sluggish economy. Farmers Association Agri SA says it is not necessary to change the Constitution in order to address the issue of land expropriation. The organisation held a media briefing this morning in Centurion, Pretoria. The ANC has joined the family of the struggle stalwart, Mendi Msimang, in mourning his passing. Msimang succumbed to cancer, five days before his 90th birthday. The former ANC treasurer-general joined the then liberation movement in exile in 1961. Mbali Thethani reports.
