The Constitutional Court has ruled that foreign nationals without permanent residence in SA cannot be admitted as legal practitioners in South Africa. A group of foreign nationals filed the application to challenge a ruling delivered by the Free State High Court. Protesters gathered outside the Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court where more than 80 suspects were scheduled to appear. The accused were arrested in connection with the gang rape of 8 women aged between 19 and 35. We now speak to Lirandzu Themba, spokesperson for Police Minister Bheki Cele.
