they started offering Hanuman ji nice prasad but just to make sure he didn’t go anywhere they took chains, shackles and they tied them to his legs and his arms so that he could not escape. Every night they would shackle him so that he could not go to Ayodhya to get mahaprasad.

Please understand when Sarvabhauma and his wife were speaking ill about Amogha, they were not doing it out of hatred but out of love for him because they knew that for him to go on living in this offensive way, he was ruining his own spiritual life. The obstacles that come in our life are the servants of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. They have come to help us to improve our Krishna consciousness. They have come help us to take shelter of Krishna, vaishnavas and his name.

Atharanala represents the place of the unity or the reunion of Vaishnavas. Sripad Advaita Acharya, Nityananda Prabhu, Srivas Thakur, Shivananda Sen, Pundarik Vidyanidhi, Shriman Pandit, Sriram Pandit, Srinidhi, Kolavecha Sridhar, Buddhimanta Khan, Murari Gupta, Acharya Ratna, Chandrashekhar, all of these great souls, as well as their wives, after Kartik, they would leave Jagannath Puri.

Why is it, Lord Nityananda Prabhu, even though he knew Lord Chaitanya would be angry with him, broke the danda? And why is it that Lord Chaitanya, who completely controlled the heart of Nityananda Prabhu unless he wanted Nityananda Prabhu to break the danda, Nityananda Prabhu would have never broken that danda.

And from just close to here, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu for the first time saw the beautiful chakra of Jagannath temple from a long distance away. Kamalpur is approximately ten kilometers from the temple itself or six miles.

We have come on this wonderful yatra to develop relationships, to inspire one another, to take very seriously the gift of the chanting of the holy names, the association of devotees and the opportunities to serve, devotional service.

There is that famous saying- ‘You can tell how rich you are by counting how many things you have that money cannot buy.’ Money cannot buy love, love of God, inner peace and happiness that can only be accessed when love of God is awakened.

There he saw beautiful beautiful murti, self-manifested, svayambhu murti of Lord Shiva. As he came there was a continual abhishek taking place. And the devotees were chanting in great enthusiasm the holy names and glories of Lord Shiva.

We worship Lord Shiva as Mahadev, Bhubaneswar Mahadev. He is the greatest of the demigods and he is the foremost devotee of Lord Krishna. Therefore, we do not worship him for material benedictions, mystic power or liberation. For a real Vaishnava these benedictions are great burdens and disturbance in life.

And please give me one benediction that I never become so proud again, that I never consider myself anything but your eternal servant, that I never commit offense to you and your devotees. This material energy so strong my lord and my love for you is so great. I desire to always be beside you. I desire to reside near whatever you just reside. Please grant me this benediction”.

So, in this yatra if we fight for anything, we should be fighting to put other people in front of us. We should be fighting to give people convenience as before us. We shouldn't be judgmental, we shouldn't be critical. If we are, we're not going to make any advancement on this yatra.

Constantly hearing about Krishna, talking about Krishna, chanting the holy names of Krishna and serving the Vaishnavas and trying to give the mercy of Krishna to others. That was Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s example and that is our goal of life, to follow in his footsteps. So let us not talk gossip. Let us not discuss the things of the world. Let us only discuss the glories of Krishna and his devoti...

we have an opportunity to make such immense spiritual progress that the ordinary take millions of births. We should be very carefully be attentive to make the best possible utilization of every moment that we are here. We should not speak about material subjects, we should not criticize, we should not gossip.
