Are we doing it in a complete state of dependence and devotion? No. Therefore, we must train and practice and cultivate this quality through our life so that we can do like that. By the association with sadhus and by the chanting of the holy names this quality of genuine devotion is awakened from within our heart.

Whether one is in happiness or distress, whether one is a grhastha or a sannyasi, whether one is in success or failure, doesn't matter. If we turn to Krsna, our life is successful.

Real beauty is the love of the heart, real beauty is not simply the external features that are ever-changing in a person and if only we can connect to that beauty within ourselves, they connect with that beauty within others, then there is real relationships, deep relationships, spiritual relationships.

Srila Prabhupada very much wanted these books to be distributed. Why? Because Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu wanted these books to be distributed. In the English language which is the most powerful language in the world today in Kaliyuga, the truth of Bhagavad-Gita should be available to everyone.

There are millions and millions of conditioned souls who are bereft of love of Krishna. In ignorance they are struggling and toiling birth after birth after birth to enjoy the illusions of Maya and they are suffering.

Chaitanya Das returned home and when he returned home, he was just so grateful for the mercy that the Lord was giving him but he was constantly chanting the holy names, hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare, hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare.

Chaitanya Das went back to his house, the devotees were very inquisitive, they approached Govinda, the Lord’s servant asking, “What is his desire? What did he pray to Lord Jagannath? Please, please tell us.”

Krishna wants our hearts. I thank you, you have shown great dedication over the years, and in assisting Srila Prabhupada as a puppet of our Guru parampara and the strings of our dedication to their will.

When we appreciate each other, and competition is just to help others to become more enlivened to do more. It’s not to stamp on people's heads and do better.

Srila Prabhupad, that instruction he received at Radha kund was so much the flow of mercy coming through our parampara and Srila Prabhupad shared that same instruction with us and gave us the opportunity to be a part.

In one of the very special ways Srila Prabhupada personally requested each of us to helps him spread this light, is through distribution of his books.

Lord Chaitanya’s message came through for the whole world and hundreds and millions of those books were distributed. But it was very important to Srila Prabhupad.

let us distribute tens and thousands of his books which Srila Prabhupada called his own devotional ecstasies. It is the greatest welfare work and we are also fortunate that we can help him in this way.

Srila Prabhupada spent most of the time of his life when he wasn’t actively preaching and managing, translating these books. He would work all day along with his disciples and when his disciples would take rest at night, he would be up hours and hours and hours through the night translating the Holy Scriptures and giving his commentaries.

Actually when Srila Prabhupada got aboard the Jaladuta, came to the west what did he have? He just had one little bag with his clothes and some grains to eat, and he had big big boxes of books, that was his baggage simply books.

Sometimes as a tremendous austerity a person may have to point out certain problems in another as a doctor may point out in a patient for the purpose of helping, healing, uplifting or protecting others but if there is any envy in our heart, if there is any arrogance in our heart, such great criticism is a great impediment in our spiritual progress.

We have come to Sri Vrindavan Dham following in the footsteps of these great souls. Let this be our meditation. Rupa Goswami and Sanatana Goswami, they were multibillionaires by today's standards. They were the prime minister and finance minister of an entire kingdom.

One of the greatest, most worshipable acharyas to this day was teaching us how to appreciate Vrindavan with such love, with such gratitude. He would sweep the pathways practically all day every day and because he was so grateful to be doing this seva in this holy place, feeling himself so undeserving that Krishna reciprocated.
