Racing with Jesse Rucinski

NASCAR went to Phoenix and three Champions were crowned.  Congratulations to Zane Smith, Ty Gibbs, and Joey Logano.  It was a weekend of good racing and some tragedy, but I will get to it all for all of you and break it all down.  Prayers out to the entire Gibbs family as well.

We have finally made it to the end of the 2022 NASCAR season and the Championship races.  Break it down and let you know who Walter and I are hoping will win and who we think will win and become a Champion.

It was a good weekend of racing for F1 and NASCAR collectively.  I will say that we got more action from the NASCAR races at Martinsville then the F1 Mexico GP but that's not saying the F1 race wasn't good.  Great races all around and points to discuss as well as that move by Ross Chastain that I still can't believe that it actually worked.

There is a lot to discuss going into this weekends racing.  On track we have the NHRA in Las Vegas, F1 in Mexico, and the NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series at Martinsville.  There are many points battles to look at through all of the series running this weekend.  I was right about the Bubba Wallace penalty pretty much doing nothing to him.  We also got news on the penalty handed do...

It was an interesting weekend in the world of racing.  The F1 Honda Japanese GP was definitely something to see once it got going and Max Verstappen once again proved that he isn't human this season.  We also got to see the NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series racing in Charlotte on the Roval to close out the Round of 12.  So many things to discuss in it all.

After all of the chaos and destruction in Texas it is safe to say that the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff points standings have changed.  From the lead with Joey Logano to 12th place in Alex Bowman I will go over it all.

I'm sure you have seen people complaining and placing all of the blame on NASCARs garbage NextGen car and Goodyear for all of the tire issues.  I find that humorous because the teams all can play with things to cause a lot of the issues.  I explain my reasoning and why I think the teams are their own worst enemies.

It was a strange day to say the least for the NASCAR Cup Series in Texas.  Tyler Reddick got the win in a race that we saw a record number of cautions, a ridiculous number of blown tires, and some teams that ran way better then they finished.

There is a great weekend of racing yet to come.  There were also good races last night for the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Truck Series who both races at Bristol.  I will tell you who I picked, who I picked wrong, who I think will run good in races yet to happen, and things I think were just straight dumb that happened in races last night.

We finally got our official announcement this morning that Kyle Busch will be leaving Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing and driving for Chevrolet at RCR next season.  I will go over his stats and some of the KBM stats from through the years before he and the team depart Toyota.  This also opens the door for so many other dominoes to fall that we will be waiting to see.

There is a lot of racing happening this weekend.  I start out by letting you know which series are off this weekend to include MotoAmerica SuperBikes. I then move onto all of the racing action on the track to include NHRA US Nationals, IndyCar in Portland, the F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, the NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series at the Darlington Raceway, and several others along the way.
