I particularly like the Septuagint version and in general, I am leaning towards that version for all my reading. As I seek to understand how the Apostles read and understood the bible, we can get lost in later translations. The Song of Moses is no exception.

After the Tower of Babel, people are scattered and nations are created (70 in total). Sons of God are assigned to each of these nations (Deuteronomy 32:8-9 - Septuagint translation). So in the midst of these creations, God wanted a nation of his own... ever ask why? Let's go down the rabbit hole. 

I think about the cross a lot and wanted to capture some of those thoughts in this moment. 

We can't possibly understand the depth of God. A gift we do have is personal awareness. Let's consider what the unique attributes we have as humans. If we can identify that, we can identify what "In His Image" means - what makes humanity different from the rest of creation.
