The second day of my challenge, so today I want to try and tick of the carp and hopefully I can do it. Keeping everything crossed.

So I have decided to set myself a silly little challenge for the last few days left of the year and that is to try and catch 1x pike and 1x carp. So come and find out if I can kick it off with a pike from the flooded Thames.

Back out on the bank after a good few weeks in search for a big girl.

Just love fishing the River Thames at the moment as I've said before you just never know what could be on the end of your line. Super buzzing for this trip even though its going to be a short sesh. Also great to be joined with Andrew as his move is surly not that far away now. So come have a listen to see how this adventure unfolds.

How is my luck? I'm back out on Andrews boat again. So happy that his move has been held up even longer, not that Andrew is happy about that.

So second trip out on Nandos Lake on a mission to put a pike or 2 on the bank. With the current bright skys and warmer weather for October, I really have it against me. But the fisherman in side me will not let this put me off!

First time dead baiting this lake for pike. I'm unsure on how many pike live here, but I do have some good sources that a 20lb pike came out last season and around this time of year. So come have a listen to see how this adventure unfolds.

This year seems to have flown by, I can't believe that it is already time to get the Pike rods back out again and I'm buzzing about that. This season is going to be the season that I beat my PB of 15lb. What a place to kick off with the River Thames. So come and join me to see how this trip pans out.

So after all the excited in my last adventure out on the canal trying my luck in catching a monster perch on the grand union canal. I had to get out again and as I know there is a monster to have. This podcast was recorded over a few trips within a 2 week period of different spots very local to my home.

Well how about that my luck is in again as Andrew has invited me back on on his boat for another adventure on the River Thames again. But this time I'm looking to catch pike as well as perch. Will I get my first pike of the season?

The weather is really starting to change now as the cold moves in fast. My percentages are dropping fast in catching one of the minters that live in this lake. Will the carp gods bless me in on this trip?

OK in this podcast I'm out trying to catch perch on live back on the Grand Union Canal. This Podcast was recorded over a few short sessions in a week. So come have a listen to see if I can get that monster perch out.

Finally back out on Lily Lake for another overnighter and once again joined with my best bud Alex. With the nights drawing in now and the weather getting colder. My Mission for a 30 is getting harder by the day. So come and have a listen see if the magic happens.

So in this little adventure i'm going fishing with Alex and his 2 young boys to try and catch a few Perch on the Grand Union Canal. Armed with my drop shot rod and my small lure rod, plus a tub of lob worms. The question is will we find the perch and will they take the bait? As usual I'm super buzzing for this trip, I really can't help my self. So come and have a listen to see how it all unfolds.

So due to the rain, thunderstorms and some cool lighting. Alex and I have decided this week to park up Lily Lake and take our adventure to Atkins Lake due to a much greater chance of us both putting a carp on the bank. Excited dot com that's all I really need to say for this Fishing adventure. 3 words. BOAT FISHING THAMES. What can I say. There is something about Fishing on a boat for fish and being the Thames and going by my last trip out, that chance to beat my PB.

Back on Lily Lake on a mission to put my first carp on the bank. Armed with my new weed rake can I pull if off on this trip or will the carp gods make me wait even longer?

Back on Lily Lake for my weekly overnighter, on my own this time! Which in some cases is a good thing as you can give it 100%.

Buzzing for this trip once again. It's that feelkng that I could tottaly smash my PB. Quick over nighter again with Alex.

So Alex and I are fishing for 72hrs on Lily Lake. So this is an excellent chance to really get our teeth into it and get a better understanding on the lake.

So back out for a quick overnighter on my new ticket. Really buzzing for this place, knowing that I have the chance of really smashing my UK PB.

It's great when you find your self with a couple of hours free time and what a great way to use that time and go surface fishing for carp.

Once again im super excited about this little adventure im going on. My good friend Andrew recently purchased a small boat for fishing and has invited me in a trip to fish for perch and pike on the Thames. There was no way I was going to turn down that offer.

So the wait is over I have been on the waiting list for this ticket for a few years now and finally it mine. This is a big fish water so I am in for a chance of smashing my PB. Also the great thing about this is Alex's ticket also came through to so I get to experience this with my best fishing bud too. It going to be a hard water to put a fish on the bank but the reward will out weigh that. COME...

So I have got a spare few hours this weekend and can't resist to get the surface rod out and try and catch my self a lump off the top.
