Blind Spots are sins in our lives that we don't look out for. David had a blind spot and it cost him. But in his mistake we learn so much. Appreciate close friends, beware the power of Lust, and know that David isn't the king we need to place out hope in. He points to the only King who has ever defeated Lust with Grace.

Hard conversations scare us. Conflict makes us cringe and turn away. Yet according to the Bible its in these very moments that true friendships are formed. Look at David and Jonathan. Their friendship was born in adversity, and because of those difficult days, we are still talking about their bond thousands of years later.

David was not even in the room when God chose Him to be King. He was unqualified and absent. But God's grace is not based on our qualifications. David being chosen as King is God's way of demonstrating that His love is what seals our destiny. Your life is not dependent on your behavior. It is depends on God's sovereign love. And you have it.

As Saul is crowned King of Israel, God continues to pursue His people in love. We choose other Kings instead of God every day and deny His provision and goodness. But even though we turn from God, He nevers turns away from us.

We all search for a King. Someone or soemthing that we find rest in, that makes us feel worthy and loved, that protects us. We also all search for a King in all the wrong places. But in love, God has been showing us the One True King all along.

Use this as a chance to look back or to catch up! In this sermon we review the most important pieces of scripture we have learned so far and prepare our hearts for the next section of The Whole Story!

Fear is something we all struggle with. It clouds our judgement and makes us doubt. But God is faithful and forgiving. When we see Him for who He truly is - a mighty warrior who can save us and protect us - fear doesn't stand a chance.

"Let my people go..." is one of the most famous sayings in the Christian faith. Moses tells Pharoah to let the Israelites out of slavery. But there's a second half to that verse that is even more important. God has set the Israelites free. Now it's time to find out why He did it, because He sets us free for the same reason.

The 10 plagues teach us that sometimes God uses tough circumstances to bring us mercy, that the idols we worship will one day turn on us, and that God's plan has been a lamb all along.

Sin enters the world and breaks the harmony we had with God, seperating us from Him and leaving Adam and Eve broken and ashamed. But God tells Satan that someone is coming to crush his head and make the music start playing again. The end of Adam and Eve's story is not the end of The Whole Story...

In sermon #2 of The Whole Story we learn what it means to be made "in God's image" and how we distort that image. But Jesus became deformed so grace could reform us.

"In the beginning, God..." These are the words that start the universe. They are also the words that start our new series. In this first sermon we look at the perfect harmony of God in Eden, how we lost that harmony, and how Jesus came to bring it back. NOTE: The recording just missed the start of the sermon, but you do not miss anything crucial.

In our last Psalm of the summer, Ryan takes us through Psalm 34. In it, David is full of thankfulness for God's provision and grace. In his joy he finds peace, hope, and can't wait to invite others in. Psalm 34 reminds us of God's great love and ultimately points us to the clearest sign of His love: The Cross.

Storms will come. Some of us are in the middle of thunder and waves right now. In Psalm 42 the Psalmist feels like his heart has been thrown to the ground. Russell Matherly takes this Psalm and shows us our Savior in it; and reminds us that having Jesus sit with us in the storm can be even better than having the rain stop.

Praising God in the storm is easier said than done. Using Psalm 18, Bo Bradshaw shares tools and stories that help us remember not only how we praise when storms come, but why we praise as well. NOTE: Volume may need to be up for this sermon.

"The heavens declare the glory of God." We hear this all the time. It is one of the most quoted verses in the Bible. But what does it mean? Zane Holcomb takes us through this verse and helps us understand what Heaven really is, and how Heaven came to Earth in Jesus Christ.

In John 13, Jeus models 3 different aspects of life for us to model: Humility, Holiness & Happiness. Listen in as Pastor Bob shares how we too can allow this sequence to affect our lives too.

In Psalm 139 Cam Washington shows us that God knows the deepest parts of our hearts: the good and the bad. He sees all the darkness in us, and instead of backing away from us, He enters into it, coming in to the mess we've made so that He can fix it and help us in His love.

To start our Summer in the Psalms series, Ryan takes us through Psalm 110. This Psalm tells us of a King to come who is God and man; and who deserves a throne, but takes a Cross.

Sleep takes up 30% of our lives. Our bodies force us to sleep if we stay up too late. Lack of sleep affects our mood, stress level, even our appetite! Do you think God is trying to tell us something? When Jesus' grace breaks into our lives, He makes us clean. We finally recieve the true healing we need. This healing fixes our hearts and we begin to act and look differently. Bob walks us through this with the story of Jesus meeting the paralyzed man and his faithful friends.

In part 2 of our Meeting Jesus series, we find a man who is so desperate, desperate to be healed. In his desperation he meets Jesus, a man who is not put off by his suffering and sin, but instead a gracious savior who shows compassion, and ultimately, takes his place.

What happens when we really meet Jesus? The Woman at the Well knew nothing about Him, and she was enslaved by shame. Then she met Jesus and 2 things happened: Her shame was gone, and she was different.
