P.S. We Expire with Morgan Motsinger

The title says it all: we expire. And yet most of us live like we have infinite time to become who we want to be, to have the conversations that matter, to stop shrinking ourselves. I'm Morgan. I'm a mother, entrepreneur, and someone who is doing the messy work of rebuilding after loss. On this podcast, I talk with people about the things we usually avoid: death, grief, caregiving, self-trust, and the courage it takes to live deliberately instead of on autopilot. These aren't conversations about becoming perfect. They're about becoming real.

I've been a mother for 15 years. I've weathered the pregnancies and births of 3 children (and one miscarriage), and the death of my oldest when she was 14.    I have learned many lessons over the years, and although I have many more to learn, I've compiled a list of 5 Myths that have shaped how I view motherhood.    I love being a mom. Ep24: Your Human Design with Courtney Koenig 31.05.2023

Ep22: Meditation basics and the way it helps me navigate anxiety and grief 17.05.2023

I used to think meditation was too out there. It was not a part of my self-care or mental health toolbox at all.    But then...I needed more tools to help me manage my anxiety. Very sporadically and very clumsily. I didn't thin...

Ep19: What is Your Purpose? 26.04.2023

"What is my purpose?" This may be one of the deepest questions we all ask. Philosophers have been asking this question for millennia, and today I'm tackling that question.    I don't think I have any new insight into this massive question, but I do have my experience, my theological training, my current education, and my curiosity that have guided me to a particular way to view this question. Firs...

Ep17: Personal Update And Fighting for Joy 12.04.2023

The day I recorded this episode, April 4, 2023, marks 4 months since my daughter Anni died.   This week I'm deviating a bit from my typical format and sharing something more off-the-cuff.    Grief has surprised me in many ways, especially in the last 6 weeks or so. I'm not surprised that I'm grieving but I have been surprised by when grief shows up and what it looks like when it does.    Thanks fo...
