Hi all!! This was a weird episode as we were all distracted by current events. The guys talk about Shawn's crazy day last week, try not to talk about the election and then we dove into the Book of Job.   Is it about getting a job? Was Job really patient like we are all told? Why does God let bad things happen?

Hey everyone! This was a weird day for the group. We have two guests on today, Crystal and Bryan! We talk about the importance of friendships in our lives, and we hear plenty of great stories.

We were getting serious for too many episodes, so we decided to just tell stories about our kids this week. The guys get showed up by their in-studio audience on Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, and then tell a surprising amount of poop stories about their kids.

Hey all!! Voting has started in the US and we have some things to say about the current political climate. The Sons have wonderful skit to start out the show. We play two truths and a lie (Politics edition) and then we address the Red and Blue elephant in the room.  No rants or hate, just good points and thoughts as we go into the Voting Season.  Get out and Vote!!  

Hey all! The guys play Never Have I Ever and we transition from our series on Anger to talking about Forgiveness.

Hey everyone! We have a special guest today! Say hi to Claire! She brings some wonderful perspective to the variety of topics that the Sons talked about. After a round of Bible trivia, the Sons finish up their three part series on anger.

We didn't get to tell all our stories about this topic, so we are back to talking about anger!   The Sons goof off beforehand talking about the Baptism last Sunday (Videos coming soon!). They play a new game called "Who is it?".   Finally, the guys get deep with their experiences and stories of what they have learned about being angry.

Part 1 of our 2 part series on Anger! The Sons spend a lot of time yelling (you know, for practice) as they talk about what anger has done to their lives. We decided during the show to make this a two part episode. The guys have a LOT to say about anger!  

Hey all! I want to apologize for the audio in this episode. The Sons did Great! but I had my volume up too high. We are all a work in progress :)  The Sons are missing Tom and Shawn, but our guest Josh Hostetter is here to help! Josh gives his wisdom as a counselor as we discuss how hope is essential to our lives and our ministry. Keep building up that reservoir of hope!  

This week the Sons had a heart to heart and really wanted to come back strong with this episode.  I think that they really got their mojo back as we started talking about honesty.  The Sons play two lies and a truth, and realize quickly that they are very bad at this game. They continue with that theme talking about how integrity and honesty is integral to a Christian's ministry.  

Hey all! We start out with a long game of 'Are You Smarter than a 5th grader?" conducted by yours truly. I still need to turn my mic up. The Sons dip their toes into the deep deep topic of depression and give some thoughts about how to take care of ourselves during this difficult time. 

I wrote this title exactly two minutes before Tom started singing, but I (the producer behind the camera) had to keep it.   The Sons start out with another round of "Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader?" and continue on to talk about sports for a surprising amount of time.  Finally, each of them give their personal perspectives on Joy and how God gives it to us in different ways.  

Since Shawn is on vacation, we have a guest co-host! Meet Gary Bean! Gary provides his own take on our topic of loneliness. Our final thought from Dave sums it up. "Though you are going through a devastating time, the Artist has not changed. His Artwork is always priceless"

The Sons play a second round of Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader. We have a reigning champion!   After, the men pull questions from a bucket and tell stories of the good old times.

The guys discuss the importance of prayer and prove to each other that they are not smarter than a 5th grader.  Originally published on 28July2020

The guys talk about Salt and Light in Matthew 5: 13-16. No drugs were used in the making of this show, but the guys are pretty darn salty. 

The Sons conduct a Bible study on the Beatitudes (Matthew 5: 3-12). They make many good and honest points about what the scripture says, and also keep debating on KJV vs NIV.  (NIV FTW!) 

Elijah sits in the spotlight (seriously, so many lights) and tells us about how he came back to the Church.   Bonus, the guys announce that they have officially welcomed Elijah to the group!  

We all joke about how Tom talks loud and long to make up for his height, but his testimony is actually perfectly within the time and very powerful. You don't want to miss it!!

Dave gives us a wonderful reminder of how God is always there, even when we keep running away and running away....  Elijah joins us again as our pinch hitter! 

We have a guest host as Tom is out sick! Everyone, Meet Elijah!  In the continued wake of the Pandemic, the men talk about the healing power of God in our mental and physical lives.

We get out the tissues again for Jason's testimony. He brings honesty, rawness and a wonderful story about God's redemption from our own mistakes. 

The men tackle the difficult discussion of the current Black Lives Matter protests. We remember that we need to love first and foremost as Christians. "Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." -MLK 

We hear our theme song for the first time and we have a long and heartfelt talk with Pastor Pete. Make sure you bring tissues!

A strange man dressed like a hot dog opens the show for us. The guys bring out their inner 12 yr old and play Would You Rather. Topic of Discussion: Reentering Society after quarantine, When and how should we do it?
