We spend most of the hour with Howard Don Williams, sitting on 15 years of a 50-to-life sentence. He gives us some background and shares his life expressions while doing time. Then we hear from Miriame Kaba, activist abolitionist and highlight Project Nia

We spend the hour with Shai Alkebu-Lan, unfree going on 25 years, he is the Founder, Director and International Spokesperson for the House of the Lions of Judah, who speaks on his upbringing; and I read some of his work.

We hear from Assembly member Chris Holden, solitary confinement organizers and formerly enslaved people talk about AB280 the Mandela Act. Governor Newsom vetoed the original bill, AB2632, last year.

Prison strikes are on! We hear from Sitawa Nantambu Jamaa on his Hunger Strike exposing medical neglect at CHCF; Mika'il, a prisoner participating in the Alabama prison strikes, speaks to us about the need for international attention for this Human Rights crisis. They've paused the strike until October 31, then back at it! And we continue with the Indictment.

We continue speaking with Heshima on the Indictment; and continue to give flowers to Dr. Mutulu Shakur, Dope is Death E4 (last episode).
