We’re looking at how to respond to God’s grace with a religion of gratitude. This looks a lot different than what we’ve come to expect of religion in North America, and it may just be the key to reclaiming the “religion that our Father accepts as pure and faultless.” (see James 1:27).

Everybody deals with forgiveness, and the majority of us have people in our lives that are really difficult to forgive. Most of us are aware that the Bible calls us to forgiveness, but can we actually forgive? This teaching of Jesus’ from Luke 17 begins to reveal how we as Christians can move forward into really difficult forgiveness.

Many of us wonder, or even worry about Hell. We may believe we’re on our way there, or afraid for loved ones who have pre-deceased us. This morning, we’re looking at Jesus’ parable entitled “The Rich Man and Lazarus” and what it has to teach us about heaven and hell, and the kind of people we’re likely to find there.
