As Stephen was stoned to death, he responded with forgiveness and unwavering faith. According to the biblical account in Acts 7, he looked to heaven, asked Jesus to receive his spirit, and knelt down shouting for God not to hold the sin against his attackers. 

When  Jesus of Nazareth  called Peter, He said: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19) Jesus said: “You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church…” (Matthew 16:18)

The Old Kingdom & the Kingdom of God can not be paralleled

When Saint Stephen said he saw heaven open, he was speaking just before he was killed. In Acts of the Apostles 7:55–56, Stephen said: “Look, I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” The phrase “Son of Man” was a title Jesus often used for Himself. Stephen was declaring that Jesus Christ was alive, exalted by God, and sharing divine authority.

Knowing when to surrender in Gods presence. Be still & know that he is God 🙏🏾

We see many encounters with God in the Bible. And in 2026 we pray for more encounters in our generation.

The Birthing encounter. The Pain before the Purpose

Psalm 34:4-5, 8 — is a beautiful declaration of trust, deliverance, and joy in God's goodness. Verse 4: "I sought the LORD, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears." This shows the power of sincere prayer and seeking God in times of distress. When we call on Him with faith, He hears and brings peace - not only removing our fears but delivering us from their grip.
