JOHN 13;3-5 “And, during the supper, Jesus… got up from the table, took off his outer robe, and tied a towel around himself. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples feet.” Prayer: Passionate God,, help me to live my life passionately true to the person you call me to be.

JOHN 19:28 “After this, when Jesus knew that all was now finished, he said (in order to fulfill the scripture), I am thirsty,” Prayer: Crucified Jesus, fill me with your thirst.

Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil LUKE 4:1 Prayer: Lord Jesus, help us to live by your golden rule and do to others as we would like them to do to us. Amen

“FOLLOW ME”. LUKE 5:27  Prayer- Bless us, O Lord and these your gifts which we are about to receive from your bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen

“The days will come… when they will fast”. MATTHEW 9:15  Prayer- Lord Jesus, bless our desire to fast this Lent and help us to know the difference between the blessing and the One from whom all blessings flow. Amen

Please help the people of Haiti with your support of CRS as we respond in the aftermath of a massive earthquake that struck near the capital of Port-au-Prince. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and was still recovering from deadly 2008 hurricanes when the quake struck.
