Doctor Who publishing entered a new era in 2005, with the arrival of a trio of hardcover books. The second of these was The Monsters Inside, written by Steve Cole, who joins us to chat about the experience of something old - and something new. Plus, it's the only novel (that we know of) which has resulted in not only the one reference on TV, but two!

We really got a buzz from doing this episode, on the popular Eighth Doctor Adventures novel Eater of Wasps. Kenny and guest co-conspirator Matt Michael look back at this novel from 2001, and share their dislike of the insects (aka "yellow gits"), and enjoy Trevor Baxendale sharing the origins of the story.
