I'm not saying that some valid concerns weren't presented, but most of the information we knew already from RHOSLC...and no nuance was provided at all for some very serious topics like incest, coercion, financial abuse and positions of power. The scene with Kusimaya and the village of people going silent around her felt eerily similar to when Koumba had the casino-themed party in Vegas with 100's of people from the hive and they each play their part of curating the illusion of a vibrant party and return to silence as soon as Koumba has left the suite and feels satiated from his party. Maybe it's impossible to recreate the magic of a show that thrived because they cast "nobody's" with big dreams, bad budgeting, benders, big breakups and barely any aspirations outside of making it to the bar to blow off steam from whatever chaos happened that week.
