It's also a rare chance to have a face to face recording that includes tequila and some reminiscing about our short history as a podcast. Polarized is dipping its toe into the Madea-verse this week with Tyler Perry's Diary of a Mad Black Woman. We sift through things like a drug-dealing attorney, multitudes of domestic abuse, and comic relief to rival The Nutty Professor and Big Momma's House. Critics: 16% Audience: 87%

We are wrapping up Spooktober with a movie about horror movies. In Censor, a British film censor links a disturbing horror movie to her sister's mysterious disappearance. Not many people saw this film, but those who did found it polarizing. That's when the beacon was lit and we descended from the Polarized Kingdom to answer the call. Critics: 89% Audience: 58%

Our polarizing movie this week is a found-footage/mockumentary horror movie that is aggresively trapped in the film trends of 2010. The Last Exorcism comes complete with an exorcist that is also a magician, a cameraman that is also a main character, and a possessed 16 year old girl that is going on 30. Critics: 72% Audience: 35%

We are taking a break in the middle of Spooktober so we can cover Never Say Never Again, a latter Sean Connery Bond movie with a polarizing history. We take our time deciphering the plot that includes Bond going to rehab, a drive-by snake murder, and a villain who is also a hardcore gamer. Critics: 70% Audience: 37%

We are checking in for another Halloween themed episode with Hotel Transylvania, a monster mash filled with Adam Sandler and his buddies. We attempt to form an opinon on this movie while hashing out some absurd internet drama concerning the Invisible Man. Critics: 45% Audience: 72%

The Polarized kingdom is continuing spooky season with a mainstay for the Disney channel on Halloween. We explore the history of Hocus Pocus, our relationships to it, and also the etymology of the name Thackery (Binx is much better). Critics: 38% Audience: 71%

We are creeping into spooky season with The Witch this week. Over the course of this episode we commend the impeccable animal actors on all of their hard work, applaud the debut of both Robert Eggers and Anna Taylor-Joy, and bond over being terrified by the twins. Critics: 90% Audience: 59%

It's a critic's choice week here on Polarized and we are talking about our most polarizing movie yet, She Dies Tomorrow (2020). We bounce around the premise of the film, rave about art made in a microscope, and try to uncover why this movie is so reviled by audience members. Critics: 83% Audience: 23%
