When we commodify God and try to market Him we misrepresent real power. Passage: Acts 16:16-31

When the early church was faced with growing diversity, they chose to import only what was necessary in worship. Are we barriers to knowing God?   Passage: Acts 15:1-21

Sometimes it is easy to take credit for the work God is doing, but that gets in the way of movement. In this passage Paul and Barnabas could have easily gone along with the crowd and taken credit for the miracles but instead they chose to follow God and give God the credit despite being in danger as a result. Today, our Director of Adult Ministries and Community Life shares with us that when we set our minds on Christ and not on earthly things, we are released of the labels that people and culture put on us and can be free to live the life that God has intended. That's where we find our true identity.

With Christ's resurrection, the Lamb (who spent time with us sheep and goats and knows what we need) has become the shepherd and calls us all to him to be one faithful herd.

Jesus triumphal entry was not what his follower's expected. We are also guilty at times of seeking another kind of King.

Job 42:1-6 & 7-9 Today, Pastor Karla closes out our study of the Book of Job. Even though Job's life is restored he still never knows why all this happened to him. A fierce faith at times requires us to live with more questions than answers.

God finally breaks the silence by asking Job a question. This question is not what Job is expecting when the silence breaks. Evan Gratz discusses the messages of hope to found in the whirlwind response.
