Join us as we recap a pretty good overall week for the gang’s teams and picks - breakdowns of UVA’s historic win over UNC, JMU’s convincing win at Marshall, Nick Saban joyfully starting a new win streak vs Tennessee, and more.

We are back after a travel-induced delay with a mega-episode to both recap a decent Week 7 and preview the upcoming games in Week 8, with some bonus bourbon hunting recon at the end. Games picked = JMU @ Marshall, Penn State @ Ohio State, Tennessee @ Alabama, Duke @ Florida State, and Utah @ USC.

Despite advancing into Bye Week SZN, Week 7 has some good matchups at the top for us to take a look at, with some potentially interesting ones further down the list for the true sicko viewers. Games picked = Oregon @ Washington, Texas A&M @ Tennessee, USC @ Notre Dame, Miami @ North Carolina, and UCLA @ Oregon State.

Week 6 was one for the books with some wild events distributed across the schedule - we get into Mario Cristobal’s malpractice at Miami, the unavoidable doom of Georgia, Nick Saban’s exit strategy, wristwatch talk, and much much more.

4 ranked v ranked games on the board this weekend, with the rest of the slate containing additional potentially interesting matchups and others only true sickos will enjoy. Games picked = Oklahoma vs Texas, LSU @ Missouri, Virginia Tech @ Florida State, Kentucky @ Georgia, and Notre Dame @ Louisville.

Join us to put Week 5 to bed, which featured not too much in terms of fireworks or upset activity. Tough week for our schools in orange & blue, with a bonus post-mortem for the USA Ryder Cup performance.

While there are several ranked-on-ranked matchups again this weekend, the rest of the board isn’t really doing a whole lot for us so we have peppered in some coaching carousel/visor/Ryder Cup talk with our previews. Games picked = Utah @ Oregon State, Florida @ Kentucky, Kansas @ Texas, LSU @ Ole Miss, and Notre Dame @ Duke.

The stout on-paper we had for Week 4 did not disappoint (for the most part), with (mostly) better picks from the group as a whole to get us back on track moving forward this season. UVA is still winless but doing it in excited fashion, and while Ohio State came away from Notre Dame with a win some of us are still not fully buying the Ryan Day package.

We’ve got a much more appealing schedule (on-paper) to look forward to this weekend; 6 ranked vs ranked matchups means we are making a bonus pick and it’s surprisingly not FSU/Clemson. Games picked = Colorado @ Oregon, UCLA @ Utah, Ole Miss @ Alabama, Oregon State @ Washington State, Ohio State @ Notre Dame, and Iowa @ Penn State.

The poor on-paper schedule of Week 3 did provide some weirdness (looking at you, Oklahoma State and Iowa State) and another win for Colorado (though not by enough to cover). Is there cause for optimism in Gainesville? Which ACC school in Virginia will record their first win of the season? We acknowledge that this weekend’s schedule stinks on paper, but in the past that’s also provided some of the more chaotic days in the sport. Games picked = Virginia @ Maryland, South Carolina @ Georgia, Washington @ Michigan State, Tennessee @ Florida, and Colorado State @ Colorado.

On a Saturday filled with weather-induced delays Week 2 saw our picks improve (slightly), with fun action across the schedule highlighted by Texas rounding into being back after taking down Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
