We’re back to discuss an entertaining week of games that included some surprise results, a (slightly) better outcome for our picks, and of course update our thoughts on the current coaching carousel & schools that appear likely to ultimately join the firing/hiring fray

A two-man preview operation this week - more in-conference games are populating the schedule and we also have some hot-seat/carousel thoughts to enter into the record. Games picked = Texas Tech @ Utah, Auburn @ Oklahoma, Michigan @ Nebraska, Florida @ Miami, and Illinois @ Miami.

Week 3 brought us some ups and some downs with mixed results dear to our hearts, but perhaps most-notably the coaching carousel has already begun spinning with both UCLA and Virginia Tech releasing their respective big whistles.

After a brief hiatus induced by travel/life/injury, we’re back to provide a brief summation of our picking & viewing experiences from Weeks 1 & 2 as well as look forward to the Week 3 board. It’s time for our final episode of the season, in which we recap Ohio State’s national title victory over Notre Dame and take a brief look ahead at betting favorites for next year. We then delve into the ever-popular segment of reviewing our golf/personal goals from 2024 and setting new marks for 2025.

After ample time for our takes to marinate, we return to discuss what we remember about the 2 CFP semifinals games and pick the upcoming championship matchup between Ohio State and Notre Dame.

After some reflection, it’s time to review the CFP quarterfinals that saw all teams with a bye eliminated from the playoff; the seminfals are set and we pick those as well. Games picked = Penn State v Notre Dame and Ohio State v Texas.

We have returned from Christmas Break for our final episode of 2024; not much to report from the coaching carousel but we’ve had an above-average Bowl Season so far and the 2nd round of the College Football Playoff is near. Games picked = Penn State v Boise State, Texas v Arizona State, Oregon v Ohio State, and Notre Dame v Georgia.

The dust has settled on the first round of College Football Playoff action (and other bowl games!); join us to relive the highlights and discuss whether or not the margins of victory should be concerning in this new era of identifying a champion.

The penultimate week of the 2024 regular season is upon us, with a mix of intriguing matchups and also some out-of-conference stinkers peppered across the board; the coaching carousel is also starting to spin a bit faster! Games picked = Indiana @ Ohio State, Ole Miss @ Florida, BYU @ Arizona State, Colorado @ Kansas, and Army @ Notre Dame.

The boys took to the road this week for some exploration of various locales - Week 12 chatter goes until about 34:00, at which point we dive into lifestyle discussions of Logan’s visit to The Swamp for LSU-Florida and Jason & Jordan’s Las Vegas golf excursion.

Week 11 gave us some vintage ACC Coastal shenaigans, including Miami losing an undefeated season to Georgia Tech for the 2nd consecutive year. Jason stayed up for the end of BYU-Utah and lived to tell the tale!

While it’s not the strongest schedule of the year, Week 11 is also not pounding us with bad out-of-conference matchups and there are still some decent contests to take in; bonus rememberance of some of our favorite ACC Network commercials. We’re back to get grumpy about the recent time change and collect our thoughts on a somewhat disappointing (though still entertaining!) collection of results from Week 10; the coaching carousel remains quiet and it seems that several previously-endangered individuals are working their way towards survival.

All remains mostly-quiet on the coaching carousel; fewer ranked-on-ranked games this week but still some interesting matchups on the board. Games picked = Ohio State @ Penn State, Oregon @ Michigan, Florida v Georgia, Louisville @ Clemson, and Pittsburgh @ SMU.

Week 8 gave us plenty to discuss but maybe not too much to read too deeply into; we’re starting to see some big-name programs fade from playoff discussion while others are putting impressive performances on film. Bonus Tony Bennett retirement musings!
