This week, after no one in the games industry decided to try and top Microsoft's recent acquisition, Kaylan and Adam go over games they're interested in that may or may not be released in 2022, and give their ideas for a 5-game starter pack to introduce new gamers into the artform we love.

Well gee golly gosh darn it, this episode was originally going to be centered around this year's E3 likely getting completely cancelled, but then Microsoft had to go a pull a massive yoink and buy a major game publisher in Activision Blizzard. So I guess Kaylan and Adam had to maybe spend a little bit of time on that story as well...

The new year has begun and the first episode of 2022 of the PixelPlay Podcast is here! Returning from their two-week slumber, Kaylan and Adam rise once again to go over their review score guesses from 2021 and their predictions for gaming in 2022. They also talk about the now released specs of the PSVR2 and ask the question as to whether or not Days Gone was a flop.

It's the last show of the year and to celebrate a 2021 full of podcasts, Kaylan and Adam give their Top 3 Games of the Year and are joined by returning co-hosts Liv from Between2Gamers and Kevin from Project XTalk to give their thoughts as well.

No proper episode this week as Kaylan was feeling ill, so in lieu of this, we decided instead to post our guest appearance on the Between2Gamers podcast with Liv, who was on our PlayStation Experience podcast three weeks ago. We got deep into the ideas of the "Console War", what it is, if it actually exists and how we should be handling it. Among other things, of course.
