First responders were called to the scene of a fatal accident last night on the Boulevard of the Allies. The collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle happened just after 9:30 p.m. near UPMC Mercy. A Clairton man riding the cycle was taken to the ER in grave condition. 33-year-old  Donte Hairston, died a short time later.

TSA officers stopped two guns in four days at Pittsburgh International Airport. This morning, a man from Franklin brought a loaded handgun to a checkpoint and last Friday an Ohio man was caught with a .38 caliber pistol in his belongings. That brings the number of guns confiscated by Allegheny County Police so far this year to 11.
