JD Beach locked up the 2018 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship on his Yamaha R6. He finished in second-place on Saturday and won his race on Sunday in New Jersey. Beach won eleven of the 15 rounds during the season. The MotoAmerica Series has one remaining round scheduled for September 21 – 23 in Birmingham, Alabama

Not only is Hobbs the crew chief for Cameron Beaubier and the Monster Energy/Yamalube/ Yamaha Factory Racing team, he is also on the 2018 inductee list to the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Colton Haaker finished second overall at the Prescott Valley Event Center in Arizona. The race was a hard fought battle with Cody Webb. In the end it came down to lappers and crashes with Webb and Haaker trading 1st and 2nd position throughout the race. It was a nasty course, with riders crashing everywhere.
