The team begins Chapter 2 of The Four Loves, which is entitled “Likings and loves of the sub-human”. This chapter will be read over the course of three episodes and in this episode Lewis examines the subject of pleasure and distinguishes Need-pleasures and Pleasures of Appreciation.

Andrew, David, and Matt finish discussing the Introduction to The Four Loves where Lewis looks at two different kinds of nearness, Nearness-by-likeness and Nearness-of-approach, and explains how loves, when they become gods, become demons.

On November 3rd, "The Most Reluctant Convert" will be released in cinemas. This movie is based on the play by "The Fellowship of Performing Arts" and Lewis' own spiritual autobiography, "Surprised By Joy", which chronicles his journey to Christianity. Dr. Devin Brown was invited to write the Study Guide for the movie so he came on the show to talk about it.

After the previously-planned interview fell through at the last minute, David sat down to record a solo episode to talk about his newborn son, Sidecar Day, blue flowers in Narnia, and also to make his tongue-in-cheek case as to why C.S. Lewis is better than J.R.R. Tolkien.

The Gray Havens are an American Christian folk pop husband and wife duo, David and Licia Radford, from Crystal Lake, Illinois. On October 8th they will be releasing their new album, Blue Flower, so David Radford came on the show to talk to Andrew and David about how C.S. Lewis inspired their recent work.

As we approach the end of Season 4, David is joined on the show by Michael "Gomer" Gormley. Among other things, they discuss Ted Lasso, tea, and the Atonement. Also, find out what Gomer would do if he ever became the Pope!

Author Rod Bennett joined David to talk about a presentation on he gave at a big Christian rock festival about C.S. Lewis' relationship to "Pulp Fiction".

David was invited onto "Ready to Stand" by host Cullen Herout to talk about Lewis' views on humility and pride.

Andrew interviewed Max McLean, founder and artistic director of the Fellowship for Performing Arts, who have brought many of Lewis' works to life on the stage, and who will soon be releasing a movie about Lewis' life, The Most Reluctant Convert, which will be released on November 3rd.
