Despite ourselves, God can and will prevail when we trust Him and see ourselves as He does. He saw Gideon as the warrior, before Gideon could even begin to believe it for himself.

The enemy is stretching his bony fingers into every facet imaginable in an attempt to pull our youth from God’s grip. Unfortunately it’s working. Churches are losing our kids as soon as they leave home. We have to do more. Prayer is great, but maybe its time to get our hands dirty.

Why would we not desire the riches of wisdom? When all the earth and its riches fade away, we will still have the wisdom of God within us. The level of that is up to us, I guess. If we seek to know Jesus, then we seek to have wisdom.
