Continuing our series, Gilgamesh and Enkidu battle Humbaba, then Ishtar (goddess of love and war) notices Gilgamesh washing up after the battle and falls in love with him.

Following up on a February episode, Scott asks Donnell about the practical dangers of an uncritical approach to the worship of God. Donnell responds by arguing that the problem of unacceptable worship is rampant in the church.

This week it's tablets 3-4 of the Epic of Gilgamesh. After Gilgamesh's mother entreats the sun god for their protection, Gilgamesh and Enkidu travel to the gates of the Cedar Forest. Gilgamesh is plagued by what seem to be terrifying dreams along the way.
