Piercing the Veil

The Pierces' take on Obi Wan Kenobi, Solo, Ms Marvel, Jurassic World: Dominion, Lightyear, Spiderhead and is traditional scheduled broadcast TV like BBC, ITV and C4 now redundant in the age of streaming. Predictably, we have opinions. All this and more - all we ask is an hour of your time. 

As the UK celebrates the Jubilee, the team assembles to record the podcast where the ONLY royal family mentioned hail from the planet Alderaan. 

A trimmed down two thirds of the team this time. With Tiff absent, we try our best to look at Chucky, Picard, Young Rock, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and pay tribute to the late titan of the comic book industry, Neal Adams. 

Now in a longer, monthly format, the team looks at The Peacemaker, Morbius, games, an Oscar  controversy and we take questions from listener Paul Stevenson.

Our fiftieth show has the team reminiscing our favourite show memories and answering listeners' questions.

Featuring Steve's adventures on Farcry VI, Tiff's take on Eternals, Venom: Let There be Carnage, Space Jam: The New Legacy, plus we look forward to our fiftieth show- and a whole lot more.

The trio gather once again to mull the past, present and future of Doctor Who, the Ghostbusters trailer, Dead Space, politically correct (and tepid) Looney Tunes and more in another meandering episode.

Episode 41 is a Summer Sizzler filled with Glorious Purpose, as we take a spoiler free look at Loki and other Disney + streaming shows, including Monsters at Work. All this PLUS Black Widow, Freaky and maybe a Vespa? 

Sequels that are better than their predecessors, Fast 9, Luca, games, zombies - and UFOs, fact, fiction or wishful thinking? It's a packed show. 

Might as well call this one Unveiling the Pierce as we get the live reveal of Steve's new tattoo plus all the usual stuff - plus all the usual stuff - AND Loki. 

Episode 38 - The One With The Friends Reunion

Hail, the gang's all here in a reunion/catchup episode heralding the return of Piercing the Veil to its usual fortnightly schedule. Soul, Raya and the Last Dragon, Wonder Woman 84, Kong vs Godzilla and of course the Snyder Cut of Justice League are all examined and judged. 

It's the last episode of the year and the Unholy 3 look forward to Christmas, while pondering the latest streaming and gaming news. With added Star Wars and Marvel, of course. 

In which the trio ponder Wonder Woman '84 at Christmas, the PS5 release, and the retirement of wrestling legend The Undertaker as well as the usual unscripted nonsense and shenanigans.

It's the Re-Return of the Unholy Three as we're out of another lockdown. We catch up, reflect, opine and give our thoughts and hopes looking forward to Marvel's Phase IV release slate, post Covid. 

Possibly another pre-lockdown show. More updates, opinions and skewed views. More childhood TV memories, more insanity, and the strange case of Alan Moore sawing the branch he's sitting on.
