We closed out the Sermon on the Mount with the 2 foundations from Jesus.

Guest speaker, Kent Delhousaye continued our series in The Different Life portion of the Sermon on the Mount discussing fruit and root in the Christian life.

Pastor Tim Birdwell continues the 3rd section of our series in the Sermon on the Mount, "The Different Life", looking at Jesus' words on anxiety.

Author, ministry leader, and professor Dr Steve Tracy joined us to address the sensitive, but necessary topic of Lust, Sex, & The Gospel.

Sunday we looked at Matthew 6:19-24 in the Sermon on the Mount to see how to use money and possessions, not for selfish gain, but eternal impact.

Guest Speaker, Pastor Rick Efird began "The Different Life" portion of the Sermon on the Mount. We looked at Matthew 6:1-18 to see how spiritual disciplines like giving, prayer, and fasting are not ways to earn God's favor, but to experience God's love.

"Jesus isn't debating divorce as much as He is elevating marriage." Pastor Tim Birdwell continued in "The Connected Life" with Faithfulness in Marriage & Words. We looked at the hard subject of marriage and divorce and let the grace and truth of Jesus direct us.

We took a break from the Sermon on the Mount to celebrate what God has done at PBC and dream about all that is to come.

Anger pushes away, reconciliation brings together. This is part 2 of The Connected Life in the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5:21-26.

"Jesus didn't come to decorate tombs, but to deliver the dead." How do we follow the law? Listen to part 2 of "The Connected Life" as we look at Jesus and the law in Matthew 5:17-20.

"Jesus calls us to be distinct, not distant." How do we related to the world? We started a mini-series within the Sermon on the Mount addressing "The Connected Life", Matthew 5:13-16.

"We make peace because we know the prince of peace." // Pastor Tim wrapped up "The Blessed Life" portion of the sermon on the mount. We also talked about how to Help Houston and gave our entire offering to Harvey Relief.

"Righteousness isn't a character trait you develop, it's a person you pursue." Pastor Tim continued our series in the The Blessed Life looking at blessing and righteousness from Matthew 5:6-8.

Pastor Tim kicked off our new series, The Blessed Life, in the sermon on the mount in Matthew 5:1-5. "Blessed are the poor in spirit"... The key to blessing is realizing you don't have the key.

Paul Alexander, executive pastor of Sun Valley Community Church, brought a special message to us on the next generation. Deuteronomy 6:4-9
