Perspective For Today

In today's episode we are going to finish chapter 11 and take this opportunity to reflect on the glory of God. Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!

In this episode of Romans we take a look at the line of privilege that Israel enjoyed and that was extended to the gentiles as well

Today we are going to start chapter 11 of Romans. As we will see in our study Israel started becoming jealous of the gentiles and through that jealousy some came to a saving grace. In today's study of Romans we focus on the truth, God's truth and whether we accept the Bible in it's entirety from cover to cover.  

In our previous study of Romans Paul was using Israel's past to make his case for Christ. As we get into chapter 10 Paul is going to be speaking to them in the present tense and share his hearts desire for them.

Today we are going to finish up chapter 9 of Romans. Throughout this chapter Paul has been attempting to overcome the objections of the Jewish people, as it relates to the gentiles, the law, and the Jewish sense of entitlement as God's chosen people. Paul is going to use every tool at his disposal to make his point. He references Old testament scripture to build his case for Christ.

We continue with our study of Romans chapter 9. Mercy, or unmerited favor is God's to give as He sees fit. Nothing we can say or do outside of God's will can earn us His mercy. With the New Year comes an opportunity for a new beginning to come to our Lord and Savior and receive His unmerited mercy.  

Today we're going to talk about memories and how we can retain those memories through exercising the hippocampus. This may seem a little off topic, but stay tuned and you'll see where we are going with this.

Welcome back to season 2 of Perspective For Today. We are going to continue our study of Romans as we begin to look at chapter 9. Today's study looks at God's sovereignty and His mercy.

This episode brings us to the end of Romans chapter 8. In this study we examine the love of Christ and how nothing can ever seperate us from His love.

While we continue our study of Romans chapter 8, we consider how the Creator already knew everything about us before the foundation of the world.

Today we continue with our study of Romans. Paul knew that even with all the suffering The pain, the anguish and all the humiliation that it paled in comparison to the glory to come. We need to keep things in perspective. Our time on planet Earth is nothing when compared to an eternity with our heavenly Father. There is no comparison!

Today's episode continues with our study of Romans Chapter 8. As believers, whether we are new believers or mature in our faith, we have this inheritance. That we can truly proclaim that we have been adopted as a child of God.

Today's podcast deals with condemnation and how to avoid it. As Christians we are going to mess up. We are going to have that moment when we sin, and along with that sin comes the guilt and the shame for our actions. But if we come to the Lord and ask His forgiveness and repent of that sin there is no condemnation.

Today we continue with our study of Romans chapter 7. The law was given by God and is a perfect expression of His will for His people. This perfect expression was given to a people that are far less than perfect.

Today we are starting chapter 6 in Romans. Today's episode deals with Christ's death and resurrection and how it directly impacts us as Christians.

Today we are going to finish chapter 5 of Romans. Today's study will focus on how God has given us the gifts of Grace, righteousness, and eternal life and how we should be giving him thanks and praise and glorifying his name for that amazing Grace

Today we are going to continue our study of Romans chapter 5. The substitutionary death of Christ removes the cause of our hostility toward God, more specifically our sins. Through our faith in Christ we have been reconciled to God. Through His death we are saved and through his resurrection we are kept from now till eternity.

Today we continue on with our study of Romans chapter 5. The same Grace that was afforded to Jesus is now available to us. We are welcomed into the kingdom as sons and daughters, not as strangers. Not as those who have forsaken God. We rejoice in the hope of seeing almighty God in all his splendor. We ourselves will be manifested in that Glory.

In today's episode of Romans we ask, Do you live your life as though God's promises are true or do you question God at every turn? Are you sold out for Christ or can you be bought by the enticements of a sinful world?
