Peristyle Podcast - USC Trojan Football Discussion

This week USCFootball.com released the latest 2010 recruiting target lists and we have Gerard Martinez on the show to discuss some of the biggest names available. We also are joined by former Trojan kicker David Buehler talking about his incredible performance at the NFL Combine, including his 25 reps on the bench press and 4.56 time in the 40-yard dash.

The Trojan coaching staff has undergone a major overhaul since the Rose Bowl. In this special Trojan Blast USCFootball.com beat writer Dan Woike questions new quarterback coach Jeremy Bates, new defensive line coach Jethro Franklin and new special teams coordinator Brian Schneider.

The Trojans were well represented at the NFL Combine, sending 11 guys to Indianapolis to workout for pro scouts and coaches. Episode 46: For our final podcast of 2008 we talk about Rose Bowl with USC experts Harvey Hyde and Dan Woike. We also get a different point of view from Nate Bauer, the web editor for Blue White Illustrated. Bauer covers Penn State and shares his thoughts on what the Nittany Lions bring to this contest.
