Perfect Pairing Podcast

Yes we are pairing 2 CIGARS this week! The Rocky Patel Prodigy comes in a Natural and Connecticut & we decided to try both with the 3 pairings this week! We also have our first wine pairing on the podcast with 2 Vitners Syrah along with Cazcanes Anejo and the illusive Old Forester 1924. With 2 cigars and 6 pairings to rate, this episode is loaded content!

Chris and Adam switch gears to the smooth Fratello Oro Boxer this week. As a Connecticut Cigar, they thought they had these pairings figured out before the episode even started...they were wrong. The Power's Johns Lane, Cierto Extra Anejo Tequila, and Filmland Moonlight Mayhem threw them several curveballs!

In Round 2 of our unique pairing experience with the Gurkha Marquesa we have the Parejo (Round) version with the Traverse City Cherry Old Fashioned, Cedar Ridge Quintessential American Single Malt Untitled Cigar Malt Project, and the Copper and Cask Armagnac Finish. While we were hesitant in trying this experiment because they all might be the same...we were shocked at the differences!

This week Chris and Adam try the second Cigar of the Week from Hiram and Solomon, the Grand Architect. And with starting out, they try a very different pairing with the Traverse City Old Fashioned then go back to the Old Forester 1920, and finish with the unique 15 Stars Triple Cask

The Cigar of the Week this week is the CLE Corojo and it boasted some of the highest rated pairings to date for Adam and Chris! Starting with the Virginia Distilling Company Cabernet Cask they moved right into the hard to find Old Forester 1924 and finished with the Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye. With a wide variety of pairings, you'll have to tune in to see what made each of them so special!

Adam and Chris have the trifecta in Artista Cigars main line today, the Artista Falu. With the Falu, they had the Virginia Distilling Company Port Cask, Green River Rye, and the Filmland Spirits Moonlight Mayhem. Teaser Alert...ALL of them paired well with the Falu. Chris and Adam have a challenging stack of pairings for the Gurkha Revenant Toro Box Pressed today! Starting off with the Cayeya Tequila Anejo it just gets better from there with the Virginia Distilling Company Cider Cask and finishing off with the Hard Truth Sweet Mash Wheated Bourbon. This week Chris and Adam highlight the 2nd GTO to be a Cigar of the Week, the GTO Corona Connecticut. The cigar proved to be a tricky one with todays pairings, some A&W Cream Soda, Green River's Wheated Bourbon, and Cayeya Tequila's Reposado. Tune in to find out just how tricky they were!

This week Chris and Adam dive into a complex cigar in the My Father Fonseca Cedros. Pairing it with the first Japanese whiskey to be in the pairing lineup with Suntory Whiskey Toki, some classic Woodford Reserve, and revisiting the Hard Truth Farmers Reserve.

Adam's newest collaborative cigar is put to the test this week! The Onward Dreams Middleweight Champ was crafted by JC Newman and in partnership with Onward (the boxing brand). The Dalmore and the Cazcanes Tequila were fun pairings but how did it pair with Dustin Poirier's Rare Stash whiskey? Tune in to find out!
