"People Suck; Love Them Anyway"

Sometimes we are quick to post our opinions because we are being led by our feelings instead of our faith. We should be led by the Spirit, not our opinions.

Be aware that people are always watching what you do, say, or post. Is what you’re doing pushing people away from Jesus, or is it bringing them closer? Are you doing more harm than good?

Have priorities shifted over the last few generations? Are we so burnt out because we are prioritizing the wrong things? Your priorities show how deep your faith in God is.

In order to experience deeper blessings from God, you have to go deeper with God. Stop celebrating bare-minimum Christian duties like reading devotional and praying before meals; start building your faith from a firm foundation and go deeper with God.

What’s the difference between a Christian and a disciple of Christ? A lot of churches struggle to help Christians past the point of getting them saved. It’s about being willing to face difficult seasons with God by your side and trusting Him through it all.

Make sure you’re spending time in the word so you’ll know what God wants you to do and where God wants you to go.

In order to achieve what God wants for your life, you have you know His voice. If you know His voice, He can guide you, direct you, and give you wisdom to make any and all decisions.

This isn’t your grandma’s episode of “People Suck; Love Them Anyway”! We are back after a two-week hiatus to bring you one of our rawest episodes yet; this one is about Christians taking on personal responsibility and making disciples despite their feelings.

We can’t expect a spiritual breakthrough or revival to start with surface-level Christians. We have to be more desperate for more of God. We have to be willing to go deeper in faith if we want to see God move in His fullness and glory.

What exactly does it require of us to receive salvation? Do we make it more complicated than we are supposed to? Are we too strict or not strict enough? Due to technical issues, the rest of this week’s podcast is only available in video format on YouTube!

Stop treating God like an Uber Driver instead of trusting Him as your chauffeur or tour guide. God can use anyone; He uses sinners every day. Who are we to judge one sin as worse than another if God can use us regardless? He is the judge, not us!

It’s not about you! Being a Christian is all about helping and sacrificing for other people. You can’t come to God or serve His people with a selfish heart position. You must serve Him and be obedient even if your emotions or opinions are getting in the way.

If you aren’t worshipping God and putting Him first, you’re worshipping the devil. Are you aware of your weaknesses? The devil is! Be aware of the chinks in your armor so the enemy can’t hit you where you’re weakest.

“God told me to tell you…” Did He really? Are you listening to what other people said that God said, or are we reading about what God actually said? Learn what the voice of God sounds like so you can have better discernment over everything else you hear.
