"THE PROMISE KEEPER" Billy Lile, Congregational Pastor 03.12.2023 36:58
God is a promise keeper. Over 700 years before the birth of Christ. God spoke to the numerous prophets like Moses, Jeremiah, Micah, and Isaiah that He was going to deliver humanity from the oppression of sin by sending Jesus the Messiah or Savior to the earth. Christ's arrival, which we celebrate at Christmas, fulfilled this promise and proved that God is a promise keeper.
"ALIGNMENT TO GOD'S ASSIGNMENT" Jerrick Riveral, Service Operations Director 03.12.2023 53:01
Every person and every church has a God-given assignment to fulfill. A life of faith in building towards this assignment becomes a part of our eternal legacy that God will reward. Pearlside Church’s God-given call is to impact not only our city and state but also our nation and beyond. We are a local church with a global impact. In Acts 1:6-8, Jesus directs His disciples to this type of legacy: &q...

"SALTED LIVES, RADIANT HEARTS" Kalae George, Associate Pastor 22.11.2023 36:11
Jesus instructed His followers to be like "salt and light" in their communities by doing good deeds. While these deeds don't save us, they show non-believers that we follow Christ. It's crucial for non-Christians to witness our good actions, leading them to praise our Heavenly Father. Unfortunately, some Christians distance themselves instead of actively serving and engaging the...

"TREASURE THE NEXT GENERATION" Russell Tolentino, Associate Pastor 13.11.2023 38:48
God calls us to consider what we are building with our lives and calls us to build for eternal things, not temporary things. One of the most important ways we build to last is by investing in the spiritual life and faith of the next generation. All of us have next-generation people in our lives whom God calls us to invest in: our children, grandchildren, neighbors, co-workers, or in the community.
"BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE" Billy Lile, Congregational Pastor 12.11.2023 42:22

"LIVING TODAY WITH ETERNITY IN MIND" Russell Tolentino, Associate Pastor 09.11.2023 44:12
The Bible repeatedly calls us to consider what we are building with our lives and what we are ultimately living for. The world encourages us to live for the here and now and to build for temporary riches and pleasure. Conversely, Jesus implores us to build for eternal things, not for the temporary.

"WORSHIP IS OUR WEAPON" Kalae George, Associate Pastor 09.11.2023 42:07
We live in a world that is surrounded by spiritual warfare that can adversely affect our daily lives. We do not live in fear and we can walk in victory over darkness because Jesus has all authority over the enemy. In Acts 16, Paul and Silas cast a demon out of a young slave girl who predicted the future through a dark spirit. Her “owners” were angry that they could no longer make money off of her...

"PRAY ON" Russell Tolentino, Associate Pastor 09.11.2023 47:06
As we discussed in this series, we are in a spiritual battle against spiritual forces of evil, and we are empowered to stand victoriously against them by putting on the “full armor of God” every day. Last week, we looked at the first part of the armor. This week, we will discuss the rest. "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand you...

"ARMOR UP" Billy Lile, Congregational Pastor 09.11.2023 45:32
The Bible is clear that we are all engaged in a spiritual battle against demonic forces. Thus, God provides us spiritual armor to stand against the enemy and his attacks. God instructs us to “put on” the first three pieces of armor and to keep them equipped in the believer’s life at all times Pastor Billy Lile Sunday October 15, 2023 Live at 9:15 AM
"READY FOR WAR" Russell Tolentino, Associate Pastor 09.11.2023 43:09
The Bible makes it clear: we are in a battle. When we decide to follow Christ, we enter into spiritual warfare. It’s a battle we can’t avoid, with an enemy we can’t see. This enemy is constantly attacking us, hurling lies, and trying to distract us from the plans God has for us. Through the cross and resurrection, victory has already been secured. We are not fighting for victory, we are fighting f...

"BUILDING BRIDGES BREAKING BARRIERS" Jerrick Riveral, Service Operations Director 02.10.2023 47:41
God not only cares about our relationship with Him but He also cares about our relationships with one another. In Matthew 5, Jesus goes as far as saying that we should attempt to make our relationships right before we come and worship God. When conflict inevitably arises in our personal relationships, we have the choice to remain angry and offended by focusing on the offender and the offense or we...

"BECOMING CAIN WHEN YOU'RE NOT ABEL" Kalae George, Associate Pastor 25.09.2023 36:56
Just as parents are called to lay the foundation of faith in their kids and teach them to follow God, we are all called to help cultivate faith in others (our friends, family, etc.). Parents can do this by tending to the hearts of their children and by being present in their lives, allowing them to lovingly extend truth and grace when their children struggle with sin. We help others by listening t...

"ANYTHING FOR FAMILY" Russell Tolentino, Associate Pastor 18.09.2023 53:56
For families to thrive, they must fulfill God’s purpose. The very first family in the Garden of Eden was given the command to fill the earth with the goodness and love of God (Genesis 1:28). Jesus expands on this by calling all people to “make disciples” (Matthew 28:19-20). Therefore, our families do not exist for ourselves, our successes, and happiness but to bless others by serving and pointing...

"FOR GENERATIONS TO COME" Russell Tolentino, Associate Pastor 11.09.2023 54:59
Relationally healthy families do not develop by accident. Healthy families are formed through deliberate effort. This starts by having the Word of God at the center of our families and as the ultimate authority in our home. With scripture, we have the source of guidance and strength for any and every situation. We are also instructed to cultivate faith and trust in God within the next generation....
