In Daniel 4 King Nebuchadnezzar has a dream. The powerful king will be cut down until he realizes who is the Sovereign Lord of all. Living for God in Babylon will require us to live a life of humility. CONCLUSION Pride like a giant tree often takes root and grows in our heart. In Daniel 3 the God-followers living in Babylon face another crisis of faith. This time they are commanded to bow or burn. These true heroes show us what courage looks like. Daniel and his friends find themselves in a perilous situation. The king had a dream and demands its recall and interpretation. They are about to lose their lives. What does Daniel do? He prays.
