God's Masterpiece (Ephesians 2:1-22) Pastor Courtney Hall 08.03.2020 47:40
The Apostle Paul's letter to the Ephesians remains one of the greatest writings on how God calls & equips His people to grow in grace & glory. In chapter two, Paul describes how, even while we were still dead in our sins, Christ brought us to life, brought us together, & built us to last as "God's Masterpiece," a living Temple of the eternal God. SCRIPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 2:1-22 SUND...
Hands of Man, Hand of God (Ecclesiastes 4:1-6) Pastor Joe Volpi 23.02.2020 51:22
The Book of Ecclesiastes may be one of the more overlooked wonders of the Old Testament. Despite its reputation for bleakness, it offers powerful insight into an inspired & liberated life in the Lord. Writer, local church pastor, and esteemed organizational leader Pastor Joe Volpi returns to PCF-LA once again to bring this revelatory message of the Lord from this often neglected treasure...
The GROW & "GO!" of Harvest: Of Seeds & Weeds (Luke 10:1-3) Pastor Courtney Hall 09.02.2020 56:59
When Jesus sent His disciples out in pairs, He sent them "into the harvest," saying to them "Go!" in a precursor to the Great Commission into which we as disciples today are still enlisted. In order to fulfill the "Go!" of harvest, we examine how Jesus' parables of growth teach invaluable lessons on how harvest can be multiplied, faith can be most fruitful, and the weeds & wilting of wic...

The Foe of Harvest (Song of Songs 2:15) Pastor Courtney Hall 19.01.2020 1:04:07
Especially as we advance into the harvest of God's promises, the word of the Lord reminds us that it's often "the little foxes that spoil the vineyard" (Song of Songs 2:15). Scripture also warns us that sin crouches at our door (Genesis 4:7), even as Satan hungers for our souls (1 Peter 5:8), that he might "sift us like wheat" (Luke 22:31). But to His faithful ones in all these situati...
The Glow of Harvest:"Taste & See That the Lord is Good" (Psalm 34:8; Matthew 5:6; 1 Peter 2:1-3) 05.01.2020 22:05
The word of the Lord to Praise Christian Fellowship for 2020 is that we are entering into a YEAR OF HARVEST! We're also beginning this new year with a spiritual fast, that we might "hunger & thirst for [God's] righteousness" (Matt 5:6) and through our prayer truly "taste & see that the Lord is good" (Psalm 34:8). Our focus in this message will be on how best we may seek t...
Fruit of the Throne: Christ the King 22.12.2019 53:09
As our Advent anticipation draws near to Christmas, we're reminded that the coming of Christ as the Babe of Bethlehem also initiated the harvest of the Kingdom to come (see John 4:35). The Book of Revelation declares that the One whose "Name is called the Word of God" (Rev. 19:13; cf. John 1:1, 14) is the very Jesus "King of Kings & Lord of Lords" (Rev. 19:16) whose places His Holy Name...
Fruit of the Word: The Coming Christ 02.12.2019 43:40
The Holy Scriptures are full of prophecies foretold, fulfilled, & forthcoming. As we begin the season of Advent, our faithful expectation relates to how the Christmas story reminds us again of God's faithfulness, both past & present, and even into the future. Just as Jesus' First Coming was long foretold & faithfully awaited by those who believed, so today Jesus' Second Com...

Denim blue jeans began as "workmen's clothes" but they ultimately attained a pinnacle in the fashion world, as well as becoming the "go-to garment" of multiple generations. Though Amos was a common sheep herder & fig farmer, God called him as among the first of the writing prophets of the 8th century BC. Joshua & Ai: Victory in the Lord 07.08.2019 55:11
Joshua chapter seven revealed how often "pride goes before a fall" (Prov 16:18 ) and that secret sin will ultimately result in public shame (Num 32:23 ; Luke 8:17 ). Yet this message on Israel's subsequent success at the second Battle of Ai in Joshua chapter eight reminds us that when God's people root out sin and rely on God's mercy & Presence as promised in His ever enduring Word, even a sit...
Achan & Joshua: Cursing & Blessing 03.08.2019 43:17
Sometimes, even as we follow the call of the Lord, our greatest success can precede what may feel like our greatest failure. In Joshua chapter seven, we find one of the most sobering stories of failure among God's people in the sin of Achan. Yet even the harsh reality of judgment that Achan brought down holds encouraging lessons for God's people: don't hide your sin, don't bury your blessing, and...

In making application to our lives as believers today, we recognize an ongoing call as a "Joshua Generation" of Christians to make consecration,...

Just...

Strong and Courageous 11.06.2019 50:27
The Book of Joshua, Moses' successor to lead the children of Israel into the Promised Land, provides an enduring legacy of the lessons, battles, and victories involved in "taking territory" in the "land of milk and honey." Beginning a new sermon series on lessons from "The Joshua Generation," Pastor Courtney Hall focuses on the major theme of chapter one: the Lord's admonition to Joshua and his pe...
