Hello everyone, As You see I am in South Jersey spending time with my dear sister Linda. We had a nice meal of quinoa with parsley from her garden, scallions and seasonings, as well as homemade hummus. We talked about the Arc of the Covenant and watched funny Kristin Wig clips; we have quite a range. It is Tom Verlaine’s seventy-fifth birthday and he is much on my mind. His Marquee Moon is almost...

Hello everyone, I accidentally left my little speech on the podium during the book fair but someone caught the tail end so I’m posting it for you. Right now my editor Betsy Lerner is speaking of her new book Shred Sisters, then I have another duty. Meantime I took a walk and got a few palm tree shots. Oh, last night I did bump into a couple of celebrated figures. I will include them. Now I have to...

Hello everyone, Just stopping by to say how much I appreciated your well wishes yesterday. I am going to have dinner with Lenny, Jesse and Alec, so I only have a few minutes. On a completely unrelated note I looked at my pictures to see what I was doing on today’s date through the years and found two nice pictures by Steven Sebring. We were visiting William Blakes’s grave. I took some Polaroids as...

And a harried shot of me racing toward my deadline, heating coffee and plowing away. Taken in my kitch...

Hello everyone, I am back. A bit jet lagged but happy. Just wanted to say hello and send a few snapshots of our last city visited. I love Vienna, and I was fortunate enough to stay in the beautiful, historic Sacher Hotel. Since they all seem to know I love the city’s ferris wheel, made famous by a wonderful scene in Carol Reed’s The Third Man, I was surprised by an all chocolate welcome. I hope ev...

Hello everybody, Yesterday we played the Bospop Festival in Weert, Netherlands. Janine Bubb shot some video from behind the scenes. Since you have been with me on all stages of learning this song I am including her footage. Truthfully I entered in the wrong place and the heavy humidity was challenging. Still a work in progress, but that is how we get better, by practicing but more importantly just...
