The New England Patriots season has turned surreal as they became the first NFL team in 30 years to lose two straight games while also holding the opposing team to 10 or fewer points- the first since the 1993 Patriots. There's no way the laughable offense can perform any worse, so why not change it up next week against the Chargers? Alec and Rich cover it all. Learn more about your ad choices. Vis...

Pat and Matt discuss the terrible football game the Patriots played in New Jersey on Sunday. The Patriots certainly appear to be one of the worst teams in the league, and have no good answer at QB right now. The loss did, however, keep the tank alive, as the Patriots are in the driver's seat for the #2 overall pick in next April's draft. Subscribe to get instant reactions to all of the breaking Pa...

The Patriots are testing the limits of rock bottom and will have their weakest challenge of the year as they come out of their bye and face a Giants team that is equally terrible. Loser gets the inside lane for a top 3 draft pick and the winner...wins, I guess? Is it worth it? Which players should New England try to put on the field? Alec and Rich cover it all. Pat is joined by Keagan Stiefel of NESN to discuss who should start at QB for the Patriots moving forward, and if any one of the quarterbacks they have are any good. It looks like the Patriots aren't going to have much of a chance to win games moving forward, but should they try to start the quarterback that gives them the best chance to win, or simply embrace the tank? All that, plus a quick look...

Pat and Matt discuss the Patriots outlook headed into the bye week. Will there be a change at QB when they play again in week 12? Will Bill Belichick be the head coach of the Patriots in 2024? Can the Patriots salvage any part of their season the rest of the way? There is an eye towards 2024 already, as the Patriots are quite frankly a bad team right now. Pat and Matt break down the Patriots loss to the Colts in Germany on Sunday. Mac Jones was benched after one of the worst throws you'll ever see, as the Patriots waste a solid performance by the defense and lose 10-6. The Patriots have a bye week coming up after this game, and it looks like there are going to be a lot of changes coming when the Patriots take the field again after their bye. Make s...

Pat and Matt are back discussing the holes that the Patriots need to fill, and how they can possibly right the ship overseas. Is it possible for the Patriots to salvage what has become an awful season, or are they just simply a bad team? They also discuss the rumors about Bill Belichick possibly getting fired if the Patriots lose in Germany, as well as the arguments that have surrounded Mac Jones...

Pat and Matt discuss the Patriots preparation heading into the Dolphins game, and whether or not they will be able to keep the good vibes going and win in Miami. They look at the offense against the Dolphins defense, and, more importantly, the defense against the high-powered Dolphins offense. They also finish the episode with a college football game to watch, their prop bets, another trivia quest...

The Patriots earned a strong victory over the Bills in a way that could change the trajectory of this team. The offense looked good in a, "they could do this against other teams!" way, the defense did a great job against an elite offense, and Mac Jones engineering the best drive of his career with a game-winning touchdown throw. Can the Patriots build from here, or was this a fluke? Alec and Rich...

Pat and Matt break down a huge win for the Patriots against the Bills. Not only did they control the game for most of the game, but they also came back at the end of the 4th quarter to seal the win. It was the first signature win of Mac Jones's career, and one of the best games the Patriots have played since Tom Brady left. Who knows if it will be a sign of things to come, but, at least for one Su...

Pat and Matt discuss what the Patriots need to do to get back to being competitive in the near future. Who on the roster are guys they should keep, and who do they need to get rid of? The Belichick question is one that must be answered, of course, but they take a long look at the roster and decide who the players they need to keep for the future. They finish with a college football game to watch t...

The Patriots have a claim to being the worst team in the NFL. After getting demolished in back-to-back weeks, the team was barely competitive against a bad Las Vegas Raiders squad, leading to the ultimate question: should the Patriots tank? Do they even have anyone on the roster that other teams would give up draft picks to obtain? Is there any hope at ALL for the team against the Buffalo Bills in...

Pat and Matt discuss the Patriots loss in Las Vegas against the Raiders. The Patriots showed some fight in the second half after a tough first half, but it ultimately wasn't enough for them to come away with the win. It wasn't great, but the fact that they showed some fight, and actually moved the ball a bit was at least a step in the right direction. Snap into action this NFL season with FanDuel,...

It was a terrible outing by the New England Patriots as they were absolutely demolished by the Dallas Cowboys in week 4, and to add insult to injury they lost their two best defenders for the rest of the season with injuries. Can Mac Jones and the offense turn the page in week 5 against the New Orleans Saints? Can the defense overcome yet another series of injuries to the secondary to defend the p...

Pat and Matt break down what was a terrible game for the Patriots in Dallas. Mac Jones was benched, the rest of the offense struggled, and the defense ended up surrendering a bunch of points as well. To add insult to injury both Matthew Judon and Christian Gonzalez left with what might be serious injuries that will sideline them for a bit. An all around terrible performance, and the guys break it...
