Blessings are found in Jesus Christ. The blessings that really matter, spiritual blessings. As His adopted child, they are all completely yours. That’s the best news ever

Forgiveness maybe hard but it’s the greatest thing we can do. Look at the life of Joseph and see what impact he made to remind us of what impact we can make as well.

When our blessings are mixed (as they normally are), God can use us to help people find the best life whether they get a better life or not. Today we learn from the lives of Jacob and Joseph as we learn to make the most of mixed blessings.

We all have different perspectives on what matters to us. But the question we need to ask is what really matters to God. Joseph understood that. Jacob did not. God wants to show you what really matters.

Contentment is not found in circumstances or stage of life and even achievement. Contentment is only found in knowing God, trusting Him, and finding His purpose for your life. At the climax of Joseph's life, we see the contentment he had all along no matter what he faced. It's good to hear his story and respond as he did. 

We all like to think that we are growing in our relationship with Christ. But for us to grow, there is going to have to be change. Are you the same person this year that you were last year? It's time to change as God moves us in His direction.

When we go through the struggles and difficulties of life, God has promised to give us wisdom to not only survive but thrive. Not only is there a watching world waiting to see how we respond, God is also developing in us for Himself, His purpose, and His glory.

From Genesis to Revelation, we are told of One who would come, die in our place, and rise from the dead that our sins might be forgiven. God is with us through the difficult days. As He was with Joseph, He will be with us. 

Only God can take our mess and make it into something wonderful. It is only His grace that cause our lives to be worth something and make a real difference.

We may have times in our lives that we are in the Pit, but God can really use that to make something good happen? Listen as we talk about the life of Joseph and how God's use of him in the most difficult of circumstances.

It is never a good thing to stand around and just let things happen. when it comes to your family, you can never just let things happen. You must lead them spiritually. Reconciliation is the heart of God. God desires that we also reconcile to those we have hurt as much as we have hurt God. How can we do that? Genesis teaches us that in Jacob's face to face meeting with an estranged brother.

We often think that winning is what we really want. But we have won in the past and still felt like, "Is this all there is?" Winning is found when we lose to God. That is God's way of giving us everything.

Hazy eyersight is one of the costs of age. Has there ever been a time in your life when you had something great happen to you, yet as you increased the time from when it happened, you couldn't quite remember all the goodness of it? We have all had spiritual cataracts as Jacob did. It's time we remember all that god is to us and what He has done for us.
