The disciples were a bit thick skulled, no the sharpest crayons in the box, a few fries short of a happy meal ... and so are we. Misunderstood … Jesus was misunderstood. People came to Him for perks … Family tried to silence Him out of shame … Religious folks tried to shut Him down to preserve their power. Misunderstood.
