Theology in and of itself is difficult to wrestle with. But these truths are essential to us, Because in them as we believe we find the solution to our greatest need. We find the truth of who Jesus is, and it is believing in who Jesus really is that brings us to what we all need so desperately; it brings to us salvation. It is not what you do that saves you, it is what you believe. The object of your belief is critical. So what is the object of the Christian faith? It is Christ himself. What we believe about Jesus matters. In part two begin looking at what we need to believe about Jesus and we start with the Historical Jesus.

"Then he brought them out and said, 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' And they said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved...'" (Acts 16:30-31) You are not saved by what you do, you are saved by what you believe. In part one we lay the foundation of what we believe and why.

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year but not because of what is happening around us. It is the most wonderful tile of the year because of what happened when God sent His Son to be the light of the world.
