Pastor Jeffrey Walter

The Word of God is not given in vain. In it, we find all we need for life and godliness. It is a full package of blessings. If we fail to recognize this, and do not give the Word its rightful place in our lives, it is because we are preoccupied with several material distractions. The Word of God must reign in the centre of our lives. It must be our only focus and option for life.  In this message,...

What is man without the Lord? What can man do without the Lord? Absolutely nothing! Man was created to be a vessel i.e., recipient of life from the Lord. Hence, he must depend on the Lord who is ever-ready to help any man who will look to him.   In this message,  "Helped by the Hand of God", Pastor Brian Essien brings to the fore our woeful deficiencies without the Lord. He shows practic...

Although the Lord’s first manifestation to man is through doctrine (i.e., the letter of the Word), every man who receives doctrine must go on to actively pursue the spirit of that truth/word (i.e., seek the Lord’s second manifestation). This is because it is in the Spirit that the Lord is ultimately manifested. It is this Word in the Spirit which completely saves a man. The process of contacting t...

It is one thing having an expectation, and another receiving the reality of that expectation. God has promised us a way of living called Eternal Life. It is a life that transcends a particular age. This is the life Jesus lived as He walked the earth. How do we get to the place where this becomes our way of life too? What is required to have Eternal Life? In this message, “The Age to Come”, Pastor...

The Christian life is the pursuit of eternal life, attainable only by spiritual encounters. This is because the origin of eternal life is not earthly, but heavenly. Thus, heaven must be opened unto a man for eternal life to flow to him/her. Without this eternal life, man is handicapped, helpless and clueless in life. What is the nature of this eternal life? How is one prepared to be opened up for...

In our every attempt to do good, we must be aware that evil will be present with us. This is a law. Knowing this should make us more careful when we set out to work for God. How can we depend on God to purge us of these evils as we work for him? What are some steps we can take to ensure that the work we do in God's name is truly His work and not ours? In this message, "Fighting and workin...

What happens when the Lord anoints us? What should follow an impartation from the Lord? Training! After such spiritual encounters, we are admitted into the school of the spirit to be trained in the anointing we have received. When we fail to avail ourselves for this training, we quench the spirit and do not see the operation of the anointing in us. In this series, “The Work Of The Ministry”, Pasto...

The good works to which we have been called by the Lord are brought about by the Spirit of God. If we seek to manifest our priesthood, then the hand of God must come upon us. We must be joined to the Lord in a covenant through obedience. Through this process, the Lord's blood (i.e., the supply of His Spirit) takes effect, and we receive remission for our sins (i.e., evils are removed from our...

Righteousness (synonymous to Priesthood) is good works from a good motive and true understanding. Every transformation the Lord wroughts in man is unto this end. Man is transformed through his journey in the Wilderness. This journey, which is defined by fasting from evils, begets hunger and thirst after righteousness. Thus, such a man partners with God's harvest of souls. In this series, “The...

That which flows from God in its highest quality cannot easily be received by men; it must be tapered to meet men at their respective levels of spiritual perception. Hence, the need for an intermediary: a Priest. Aaron, the High Priest was chosen to be the mouthpiece for Moses, who acted in the stead of God. What are the intricacies of the work of the Priest? Why was the tribe of Levi chosen for t...

The Lord calls on each of us to journey from Egypt to Canaan, our promised land. This land, which is our inheritance, represents the state where the Lord is able to dwell together with and function through the man. This glorious state should be the major aspiration of every man, who is on the Christian journey. What does this journey entail, and what will it cost us? In this message titled "T...

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33, KJV. This should be the disposition of every Christian, who desires to be used by the Lord. Such a person must be willing to go through the process of discipleship, which will qualify him or her to have a pure appreciation of the Lord’s Kingdom and what He seeks to d...

“All things are possible to them that believe”. However, we daily struggle to believe as the Lord would have us. We are often stuck in the sensual realm, which is a great limitation to what we can do in the Spirit. Spiritual uses, as determined by the Lord, are borne out of faith. How do we come to the place of faith in order to bring forth fruit that the Lord desires? In this message titled, &quo...

There is a realm of faith that makes man act in a way that God is able to move. This realm of faith is the realm of the higher mind that is beyond doctrinal analysis. In this wavelength of faith, one becomes another man that is beyond the natural. In this inspiring series, “Called By His Name”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter uncovers the essence of discovering the divine purpose, i.e., eternal uses, unique...

"For the body is not one member, but many." — 1Co 12:14 KJV. The body of Christ is close-knit. All the members of the body are interdependent. It is such that the functioning or malfunctioning of one member has a ripple effect on the entire body and creation at large. To this end, there is a measure of faith for the operation of God for every man through his unique vessel.  In this inspi...

The name of the Lord is what pertains to His nature, i.e., the Divine Love and Divine Wisdom. In the scriptures, God chose to place His name in the temple in the city of Jerusalem. The place where God chooses to place His name by His own will becomes the place from whence those looking for God may find Him. By what principle did God place His name in Jerusalem? What does the temple within which Go...

What will motivate a man to give himself to the Lord? What will drive a person to cooperate with the Lord to rigorously turn away from the evils he so loves? What necessitates a sense of urgency in our walk of consecration? How should we approach our regeneration in order to become useful vessels in the hand of the Lord? In this inspiring series, “Called By His Name”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter uncover...

The Lord flows into all men to give them a sense of liberty (freewill) to choose that which is good or otherwise. However, the man under the influence of hell feels helpless in the presence of the Word of God. Although he may agree that instructions from the word are beneficial, he may still find himself unable to find the will to obey these instructions. If man is furnished with freewill continua...

There is an eternal clarion call by the Lord. It is a call to all men to become spiritual. All men begin their spiritual journey from the wilderness (which is man's state when the Lord is not actively present). Even in the wilderness, the clarion call is heard through doctrine, which instructs the man on the path of repentance (i.e., the turning away from evils). Inherent in doctrine is the po...

Do you believe that the Lord God is the Creator? Obviously, many Christians would say an emphatic, "Yes" to this question. However, that general idea, founded only on the letter of the Word, is limited to the material or physical creation of the world. Could the creation story recorded in Genesis represent much more? Yes, it does. The account of creation in the Bible actually speaks of t...

The Lord does not only desire to dwell in us and work through us, but also to organize or construct us to become that which he created us to be. A vessel is not just made to contain God, but to respond to God. But how does this work exactly? How do we become vessels of the Lord? What really is our role in this and how do we respond to God? In this series, “The House Of His Glory”, Pastor Jeffrey W...

The complexity of the human mind is such that, different truths combine with different affections under unique circumstances for a person to come to a particular conclusion, or to make a vow, or to be inspired or to make a course correction. This cannot be orchestrated by the man himself. Thus, when God wants to transform and form us into vessels that would reveal His Glory, He sets us up graduall...

The Word of God is eternal and all-encompassing. It is necessary and sufficient for man.  It has dimensions that make it possible for it to relate to every aspect of man's being - what his heart is after, how that must be accomplished,  and practically doing it.  It reveals who God is (love/goodness itself) and shows man how to become good. In this message, "Redefining Our Lives", Pa...

By continually engaging in evil in the senses we acquire a seared conscience in our rational minds. We find ourselves trapped in evils and in desperate need of ventilation (strength) from the Lord to believe again. What is this seared conscience exactly? How can we be delivered from it so that we may see our God? In this insightful series, “Ascension”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter reveals in detail how t...

The natural mind of a man is made up of three levels: the rational, the intermediate and the sensory levels. Each of these levels plays a distinct role in a man's life. How do these levels in the mind of a spiritual man differ from that of an evil man? What exactly goes on in each of these levels in the process of the regeneration of a man? In this insightful series, “Ascension”, Pastor Jeffre...
