"... the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5) _ This love from God heals our hearts, where the issues of life spring forth.

You cannot imitate what you cannot see. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. __ "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." (Hebrews 12:2)

"And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness." (Acts 4:31)

"He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." (Zephaniah 3:17)

One word from the Lord changed Peter's life. How did he receive it? By faith. All he did was believe the word. In the same way, just one word from the Lord can change YOUR life. God has appointed certain moments in your life to His appointment book. For Abraham, it was the promised son Isaac being conceived. Timing. It's easy to be happy when everything is good, but our weapon, our distinguishing characteristic, is that we, as a people, are not moved by what we see. We keep our eyes fixed on the unseen, eternal things. All this mess... it's just temporary, and joy is your weapon. #joyisyourweapon

Jesus won! He battled sin, and He won. He battled poverty, and He won. He battled sickness and disease, and He won. He has battled loss, grief, a spirit of heaviness, death and the grave, Satan, evil and darkness, discouragement, regret, shame... and HE WON! He won, and it's done. What you think about matters in your life. There is a place you can turn to when no one else has an answer, and that is Jesus. He is our safety in the storm, our canopy, and our shield.

Our "can'ts" in life hold us back. The truth is, where we can't, Jesus can. We often don't know who we are because we don't know who He is. You see, we are who He is. This weekend we will explore who Jesus is and find out that because He can, we can!

When Jesus said, "Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them," He was talking about the Holy Spirit. Everything you need is in the river. In His waters, you are amply supplied--the river is within you.

Did you know that we serve a God of second chances? Our God is so gracious. He's so loving. All He wants is the best for you.

There is POWER in releasing yourself from burdens! The word of God is far more effective than any burden that we tend to take on in life. You were not meant to carry any burdens! GIVE IT TO GOD.

We will all, at times, face defeat. We will stare into the face of failure. The Word says, "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise." (Micah 7:8) You see, even the righteous fall. Success doesn't mean that you never lose; success is knowing what to do in a loss.
