My mission is to help people grow closer to God with every breath and step I take. I gave my life to Christ at an early age and have grown closer through the years, spurred on by the study of the Bible, my church family, and the Chrysalis and Walk to Emmaus Communities. I accepted the call to full -time ministry as a pastor in 1999 and have served 4 different churches in Georgia. Music, preaching, and teaching are the heart of my ministry. Outside of the pulpit, I enjoy many ho...

When the waves start rising and the ride gets rough, you’ve got a choice—panic or trust the Captain. The ride may get bumpy, but you’re not steering alone. Hold steady. We’re gonna make it through.

Abide in Me 16.02.2026

In this message from John 15:1–11, I explore what Jesus meant when He said, “Abide in Me.” Using the image of the vine and branches, we look at how true spiritual growth and fruitfulness don’t come from pressure or performance, but from staying connected to Christ. I also share practical “Holy HABITS” that help us remain in Him so that His joy can overflow in our lives.

Jesus Searches for the Lost | A Sermon on Luke 15 09.02.2026

In this sermon from Luke 15, I explore Jesus’ heart for the lost through the parables of the lost sheep, lost coin, and lost sons. Jesus makes it clear that seeking the lost is not optional for His followers—it’s central to His mission. This message challenges us to examine our own hearts, rejoice when the lost are found, and join Jesus in searching for those who are far from God.

Jesus Calls Us to Follow | A Sermon on Mark 1:16-20 19.01.2026

In this message from Mark 1:16–20, I reflect on the day Jesus called four fishermen to follow Him and how that same call still comes to us today. I share my own calling to ministry and invite us all to remember—or consider for the first time—what it means to leave our nets behind and follow Jesus with our whole lives. This sermon explores what it truly means to follow Christ, to be changed by Him,...

This is my first sermon as pastor of Stark Methodist Church, and I wanted to begin honestly and faithfully—with God’s Word. In this message, I reflect on Paul’s words from 2 Corinthians about boasting in weakness rather than strength, and I share a bit about my own weaknesses as a pastor and a follower of Jesus. My hope is to point us all to the grace of Christ, whose power works best not when we...

Mary's Song 01.12.2025

In today’s message, I explore Mary’s Song from Luke 1:46–55—the very first Christmas carol ever sung. Before angels filled the sky and shepherds ran to the manger, a humble young girl from Nazareth magnified the Lord with a song of faith, trust, and incredible courage.
