PASTOR ALAN LATTA

Since God's ways are often not our ways, it is wise for us to learn - like Abram and unlike Lot - how to best serve His purposes and be blessed in the long run.

God was faithful when Abram was not, due to fear that clouded his judgment; thus demonstrating The Lord's faithfulness toward us when we are not.

While it is impossible to walk with God without obedience, doing so is not possible without exercising faith in Him. This is not having faith in our works or in our faith but in Almighty God Himself.

Gain important understanding by viewing every Biblical encounter with God as times when He would establish His covenant with people and/or exercise His judgment.

From the Bible Chapter most often called The Table Of Nations - Genesis 10 - the truth is declared concerning Noah's family and why The Lord wanted humanity to scatter across the world.

Discover more about inspiring parallels with the gospel from Chapter 9 of the amazing Book of Genesis; e. g. how the rainbow points us back to Almighty God, who would one day pour out His wrath upon Himself through the sacrifice of His Son.

This talk is about our discovering and embracing six things we should be doing every time we participate in taking communion.

Guarding ourselves against becoming offended involves being careful with our perceptions and protecting what we allow to capture our attention and fill our hearts and minds.

While there are some petty offenses in life, there are plenty of real ones we will face at one time or another. In this sermon, the truth is declared concerning our calling to love the most offensive of people in light of the Gospel.

Knowing more about the prepositions of our spiritual position, that is - who we are - by, in, to, through and with Christ, is a sure way to grow stronger and less offendable.
